Hey,as the topic stated we are expanding our project and would love to have a map of the area the mod is set in.If you can help or know of anybody that could add even more to this project too make it even better,it is welcomed and greatly appreciated...

Thanking you on behalf of CFD,he is doing a great job!!! at the moment no map is in the works,but we would love to have one. So if you know anybody, or have these skills yourself...let us know and we would welcome anybody on board. Our goal is to realistically portray the RCMP so a non LA map is on the list.

Thanks admntrs,yes she's there too motivate me...I think the only real useable government unit is the FBI suv,which we have had a few ideas about. One was a police package unmarked tahoe k9 but we're holding off on that one for a bit(a few surprises still too come) The RCMP does have a field command center unit but still uncertain if I will skin one,we'll see...as far as IHIT I searched and can't find any pics of what they drive(saw one and it looked like a GMC safari van lol)I do however think that the blue or brown civilian looking umpc would be a good choice.

I gave all the umpc's a new accurate reproduction of the back window light bar,in the following 2 pics are the 2 styles used by the RCMP I made a grill that hides the lights on a few umpc's 2 out of the 6 umpc's will have no pushbars,ect and will look civilian till you light them up

switched out all my chargers to Nnico models,much cleaner and a joy too skin!!!! I re-did the skin on the BCAS charger and it's leaps and bounds above previous version,not too mention that it now has the correct push bar and a decent light bar...

Sirens are done,we have the correct federal signal smart siren...it sounds like this one

a new lightbar,this is the Whelen red and blue stobe that was in service and was and is being replaced by the Federal Signal Legend,in Surrey there are still many units with this lightbar...

Yes Tex,the boots were out getting repaired and they had too don the leather dress pumas...The SU is "Surrey Unit",the lower mainland spans many cities and police agencies,both city and RCMP police forces. Also I think it's for the air unit to identify the ground units,as general duty RCMP in smaller populations have no letters or unit numbers. The other big RCMP units in the area are:RI(Richmond),BU(Burnaby),NV(North Vancouver) and so on.... The ERT will consist of the suv suburban,ERT rescue box truck,ERT armored personnel carrier and maybe a umpc.The ERT rescue van will be the main unit. this is a map of the lower mainland that makes up the greater vancouver regional district ,population as of 2007 was 2.3 million,most of the cities in this area are covered by the RCMP for policing duties.The exception being Vancouver,West Vancouver,Port Moody,Delta,New Westminster and Abbotsford which have city police services.

Thanks admntrs.The ERT truck is based on a box van version that was a real unit in the Courtenay RCMP detachment,the truck box unit itself is just an improvement over the la mod box van, so that is why I chose it...

nice job on the mounties in red serge Dyson...look forward too seeing the other general duty personnel.Also big thanks too CFD for bringing Dyson on board and a huge thanks for Dyson for helping out and bringing his skills to our project!!! Here's an updated set of pics with the correct bars and coloured gps pucks.I agree with CFD, as we are striving to produce realistic actual units . In the case of a fictional unit ,too make it as realistic as it would appear in the RCMP inventory, if it was a real unit.

Thanks Jon and admntrs,yes I would love to take it to the next level,new map,ect... whatever you can bring to the table or know somebody who can, just let us know.Help us make it a canadian mod to be proud of. I cleaned up the back lights and duplicated as used in the real world and also added a police interceptor badge.

hey DukkSezQuak thanks for the praise...All the RCMP units across Canada are the same white with the 4 colour stripe( the only difference is the area code letters on the trunks),the retro's are a special unit that are mostly based in Alberta and Atlantic Canada(still have yet too see one). Surrey has every unit in the RCMP inventory as it's the biggest RCMP force in Canada and the largest municipal police force in British Columbia.Very long storied history the RCMP have which is why I felt there would be no better canadian police mod other than the RCMP. Jeeves ,yes,concentrate on school.Playing video games although enjoyable doesn't pay well....After we release the RCMP part,I may release an add on of all the VPD units I did for all the Vancouver fans out there. I love skinning so OPP wouldn't be out of the question,love the black cars,but that's down the road.

Thanks squamishfire and RiotGear,hopefully not too much longer still plugging away at the lights and cleaning up skins ect making it perfect. If I had just skinned them all at the start and released it would never had gotten too this point where CFD and Frikenmusket have added so much, too a fun skinning project it started out as. Hopefully one or two more surprises and lights completed and we'll be proud to stand by and release it for you all too enjoy and at some point in the future I would love to have a lower mainland based map instead of LA but that's tomorrows project. Big thanks to some of the guys who have been on the boards since day one when I started,long time to wait too play but I'm sure in the end when you get the completed version you will enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it. Thanks for your continued interest and support it makes it all worthwhile.

Once again Freakinmusket has performed modeling magic and produced for us a 100% accurate pushbar as used on RCMP cruisers .I am grateful for his contribution and willingness too help the RCMP mod as he is busy with his own project. He is also working on a mirror that has the led flasher in it . When put on the car ,this will be so accurate, it will be a thing of beauty.(wipes tear away from his eye)...here's some shots of the new bar. just a note before anybody says it,I have removed the 2 lights in the grill...

I agree on the sides of the bar but as I don't have or know zmodeler I can't nor am I allowed to alter the model.We found some sweet accurate led lights for the bars check out the video it will give you an idea of how it will look.We'll just keep it on marked units the umpc's will have the ram bar.

Thanks Steve,I got some new units too show off.They are as follows: RCMP paddy wagon ERT unit too replace the LA mod ones umpc Impala Also I found a bad ass push bar for pitting and pushing bad guys off the road,let me know if you guys like or not and we'll see if it stays or goes

nnico posted a good version that's easy to skin and looks good,has no lightbar but you can always add one as a child.search nnico to find it....

MikeyPI has graciously blessed me with his 2000 Impala model from his NYmod,I made a slicktop and will be making a marked version out of it also. pics will follow ****note: CFD did not light this one,if you dislike the lights it was me...I just wanted to see how it looked lit up,changes will be made before being put into game****

Everything's going good,CFD is still working on the remaining police units and I'm doing the BCAS lights.I would love to add the super duty f350 crew cab,better tahoe model and a older impala model...all these vehicles make up a big part of the current general duty RCMP fleet.

hey JOSEMA1701,still working on the police unit lighting and all the skinning is pretty much done.Would love too add a few units but we need a modeler for that so maybe later on after release we could do that... we'll keep you guys posted as progress is ongoing.

All the vehicles I skinned are from that mod and I only play freeplay now and all the units I have replaced are in there in play.So everything you see in my posts will be in the game...

As far as I know those are your only 2 choices,you could wear some of those old school red and blue 3d glasses...(joking),see what others have too say.

Fix it in the editor.There are many shades of blue,corona 5 is the best choice. LAmod unless you use light mods are really a washed out shade of blue. If you don't know how to get in the editor, just download project LED light packages and you'll be seeing blue as it should be seen.
