Exactly. Municipal police forces are authorized to investigate illegal actions that are only punishable by the fine or seizing the property. If murder happens, Police of the Czech Republic is called and they handle the investigation. Of course, if there is a suspect on scene, municipal cops arrest him. Often happens that MPs are first on scene and they follow 'the hot trail' so they chase the suspect and arrest him. However, have to handle him to the State police because they do the prosecution. On the other hand, in some Czech cities local/municipal PDs are the primary law enforcement authorities. Are authorized to carry a gun, taser and all the other stuff we use. Yes, I know that NYPD is considered as a local PD. But we all know it's not truth and they are metropolitan. They are professionals and I deal with a huuge crime comparing to other small town PDs (that have military equipment!). I hate the way how police depts are being militarized. I didn't join the police to ride a tank. In my opinion, both Canada and the USA are using too much repressive and little prevention. I meant it like locals deal with all kind of crime. No matter what, if it is illegal, you get arrested. However, federal LE agencies are focused on the crimes they are intended to investigate. The DEA cannot investigate frauds but locals can and will arrest you for that. Catch my drift now? Another good example is FBI..

OK. Thanks. I think that USA are full of LE agencies, some of them are really crappy. At least is not that horrible as it was back in the 90's. However, some of the PDs are still corrupted. I heard a lot about it. One thing is absolutely unbelievable and that is that the USA gives the real policing powers to the local police. I am just kinda sceptical about locals. Small PDs are buying tanks, assault rifles and stuff that just doesn't belong to the police. This is why the USA have the army. Militarization of the police is not a good thing. Friends told me about some problems going on in local-state police related things. If someone here saw the movie Super Troopers, that's exactly it. I don't think the jurisdiction is so clear and truth is that the police agencies are often mistaken. In my opinion and judging from the Czech Republic and mostly any other EU police system - state police should be the highest. Yes sure, locals can help 'em with enforcing the law as its in the CR. However, local police is not authorized to enforce felonies, misdemeanors only. And I think it's the best system. It just sounds weird to me that local cops have actually bigger powers over the crimes than the state or even federal PD.

Well, in my opinion USA are becoming the real police state. But it's each person's opinion. Unfortunately Canada is being closer and closer every day. Agencies that absolutely don't need that are getting LE powers and stuff. But it's an off-topic. As I said, I think that the USA are becoming the police state. Interesting to see that some states have only a little agencies and are ok and then on the other hand Ohio has the biggest amount of agencies in the US.

Interesting subject to discuss. As stated before, it is always stated as its own jurisdiction. LA county sheriff won't respond to calls in the next county, that is unless there isn't any mutual aid agreement. However, I know from my experience when responding to officer down call, jurisdiction doesn't exist. Just every county, state, local and even federal unit in the area arrives. Sometimes you can see that when officer is shot and literally hundreds of cops are there (e.g. two NYPD officers shot, RIP). Someone said that sheriff does transports only. I don't think it is correct. See LA County Sheriff. They respond to 911 calls and do patrols on daily basis. Some poor counties have only sheriff county and none local PD to help. Usually they do an agreement with the state PD and patrol with them. US police system is pretty difficult to understand. However, I cannot cross Toronto line. It happened a few times that fellow officers did pursuit out of Toronto limits and were told off. We have internal policy to hand over the pursuit everytime we are about to cross the limit to other agency. Usually Ontario Provincial Police or RCMP but RCMP is rare to see in TO. It's always better, if something happens, it's not our problem anymore. And do not forget coroner's officer Sawdbuster. They also have law enforcement powers, some even carry a gun! Have also the arrest power and arrest people if crime is commited. It's known that the coroner is the only one who can arrest the county sheriff. In Kentucky he has full peace officer powers. Nice models! Interesting fact that police does rescues in Australia. I've never been fan of that. I think it's FD's or EMS's thing.

Howz that possible? I heard that LA map is the biggest map. Don't remember the yyy X yyy numbers, but I thought it is impossible to make a bigger map.

Hey guys, I wanted to add vehicles to the Chevrolet from the Montana Mod 2.0. I am a real stickler, I know. But I just wanted them there. So I went to editor, opened through edit children, clicked on wheels. And decided to put there temporary wheels from the sheriff Crown Vic. I admit that they didn't fit there as they should but I was willing to let it be. So I clicked on OK and again on OK. Ran the game and the mod. But no vehicles on the map! I mean even not other vehicles like Crown Vic's or FD. Does anyone know what is the problem (except me) lol? Thanks in advance.

Yeah funny but it gives some realism to the game. Some individuals die during the taser usage. But I pretty laughed my head off. I didn't want to shoot him so instead of it I tased him and he died. If I shot him, he would be alive lol. LOL, yeah. His heart was weak. Also pretty unplayable to me. My bad CPU + that script control system makes my game extremely laggy. However, I love the models and the map.

Funny bug happened to me. I got report of man with a gun. He was basically shooting on a vehicle. I estabilished the perimeter and called for backup. I didn't want to shoot him since he was an active shooter. So I took MHP officer with a taser and tased. Suspect suddenly died lol. Any idea why? I have to admit that I was pretty close to him.

I think it's not mod's issue. I experience it sometimes as well. Always helps to end the game and start it again.

Next to the volunteer FD station. You click on that and there is a button with ring image, as many clicks on that = as many volunteers called in.

Bama, as I sent you the report form I didn't know at that time what was causing the CTD. But I know why. It was during the work with FF. I gave him a hose, attached him to the car and wanted to use that thing that makes two attachments for another hoses from one hose. I don't know the exact name lol. So when I choosed it, game CTD. It's an addition to my bug report.

Weird, I cannot call MHP. Even if I select them from the menu, they won't show up. Does anyone else experience this problem?
