65 miles of round trip travelling took us from Akron to Massillon to North Canton then to Hartville Starting off with the shots from Massillon: No one was at the front desk so I elected to shoot from the publicness of the sidewalk right next to the entrance to the police parking lot, Notice: please do not enter a fenced in police parking lot without permission, there is a decent chance you will be allowed in if you speak to the supervisor in charge inside the police station. I'm almost famous! Photo used on Local news by Seluryar, on Flickr no names were mentioned, but OMG im so proud of this moment! I assume they only found my image from a google image search since the photo used is among the first photos listed. :3 They were doing a story on a guy who has been arrested more than 100 times locally, They were mentioning warrants from various agencies, some other photos of cars were used, as well as patches representing other agencies, But for Cuyahoga County Sheriff, they shows my photo.

Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority is low income housing, unfortunately, there are some undesirable citizens that move in that have no problem with starting drama and being violent, doing things that are against the law, making and selling drugs, having weapons or selling them even though weapons are banned from all of their properties, there are even young children living with these degenerates. You dont need much to set off a hostile situation in any low income housing buildings, a swat team also might be necessary to collect a violent suspected criminal from the premises even if nothing has sparked a housing police incident.

Only the Summit County Sheriff Truck is ex-military, the Lenco's are purpose built for police use, pretty sure the FBI one is ex-military, the Dodge Sprinter is most likely straight off a dealer lot but retrofitted for emergency use, the Akron Police vehicle is the command vehicle, I have yet to photograph their insertion vehicle/s which from what I have seen in the past are old city used ambulances, and the Cleveland vehicle was purpose built

Not denying that you took them where you said you took them, I also tag my photos with a location, but on my end, i might have gotten a little overzealous doing so :/

I have seen Baltimore County(MD) fire trucks on the Ohio turnpike a few years ago, but I think they were on their delivery run, you might also catch fire trucks being sent back to the factory for repairs or maintenance checkups. I have also seen Toronto Police motorcycles south of the border in Cleveland a few years ago, as well as buses traveling through Cleveland being delivered(most easily identified by me was a Buffalo NFTA Bus) As just mentioned above this post, They could be doing mutual aid to neighboring communities across state lines, and I believe New York City received help from all over the region in the days after 9/11 for search and rescue. I also recall a train derailment in Canada that received mutual aid from neighboring USA communities.
