  6. I dont get to travel often like this, I am usually limited to where local buses go or like you, walking distance.
  7. 65 miles of round trip travelling took us from Akron to Massillon to North Canton then to Hartville Starting off with the shots from Massillon: No one was at the front desk so I elected to shoot from the publicness of the sidewalk right next to the entrance to the police parking lot, Notice: please do not enter a fenced in police parking lot without permission, there is a decent chance you will be allowed in if you speak to the supervisor in charge inside the police station. Massillon Ohio Police Ford Explorer by Raymond, on Flickr Brand new vehicle Massillon Ohio Police Ford Taurus by Raymond, on Flickr We stopped off at the local highway Patrol post in North Canton, they were not willing to let us into the police vehicle lot but did offer to drive a vehicle around, but they did not have what I was looking for there so we left(I was looking for a new 2015 Tahoe) Then off to Hartville: Hartville did not have a fenced in lot, an officer did come out of the station and was interested in what we were doing, we had a please conversation, he enjoys the Explorers more than he did the CVPI's. 10. Today was a decent day, not as many police cars, but all of them K-9 cars for and police dog event a block away from me, got one of my holy grails(til this week, there were a few of them on my list, the above posted Fairlawn Explorer was one of them) I even managed to unofficially sell some photos to a friend since he couldnt make it to the event this morning, payment was $25 worth of Mcdonalds Chicken Mcnuggets :3 (100 nuggets) Kent Ohio Police K-9 Chevrolet Caprice by Raymond, on Flickr Cuyahoga Falls Ohio Police K-9 Ford F-150 by Raymond, on Flickr Cuyahoga Falls Ohio Police K-9 Ford Explorer by Raymond, on Flickr another holy grail of mine since these new explorers arrived a few months ago Canton Ohio Police K-9 Chevrolet Impala by Raymond, on Flickr Tallmadge Ohio Police K-9 Chevrolet Tahoe by Raymond, on Flickr Stow Ohio Police K-9 Ford Crown Victoria by Raymond, on Flickr Stow Ohio K-9 Ford Explorer by Raymond, on Flickr I didnt stick around for the main event too long since I find it difficult to shoot fast moving objects, but of the single Dogs I watched run the course, I grabbed a decent shot: Akron Police K-9 Challenge 2015 by Raymond, on Flickr I didnt check the photos til I got home, This gave me the confidence to attend the event next year and stick around for the whole thing, I will try with my longer zoom lens< i want to get more shots of them going through the car window.
  11. Today may have been dreary, and I was definitely underdressed for constant rain, but that didnt stop me from doing what I loved, Had I not convinced a photo police car fan to try photographing at Clevelands Peace Officers, I might not have traveled the 50 miles to Cleveland. 16. I'm almost famous! Photo used on Local news by Seluryar, on Flickr no names were mentioned, but OMG im so proud of this moment! I assume they only found my image from a google image search since the photo used is among the first photos listed. :3 They were doing a story on a guy who has been arrested more than 100 times locally, They were mentioning warrants from various agencies, some other photos of cars were used, as well as patches representing other agencies, But for Cuyahoga County Sheriff, they shows my photo.
  17. Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority is low income housing, unfortunately, there are some undesirable citizens that move in that have no problem with starting drama and being violent, doing things that are against the law, making and selling drugs, having weapons or selling them even though weapons are banned from all of their properties, there are even young children living with these degenerates. You dont need much to set off a hostile situation in any low income housing buildings, a swat team also might be necessary to collect a violent suspected criminal from the premises even if nothing has sparked a housing police incident.
  18. Only the Summit County Sheriff Truck is ex-military, the Lenco's are purpose built for police use, pretty sure the FBI one is ex-military, the Dodge Sprinter is most likely straight off a dealer lot but retrofitted for emergency use, the Akron Police vehicle is the command vehicle, I have yet to photograph their insertion vehicle/s which from what I have seen in the past are old city used ambulances, and the Cleveland vehicle was purpose built
  19. Here are a few from my region, starting with my county: Summit County Sheriff SWAT MRAP by Seluryar, on Flickr Akron Police Department SWAT Truck by Seluryar, on Flickr Metro SWAT Lenco Armored Truck by Seluryar, on Flickr and others from other parts of the region: Cuyahoga County Sheriff SWAT Lenco Armored Truck by Seluryar, on Flickr Cleveland Ohio Police Emergency Rescue SWAT by Seluryar, on Flickr Shaker Heights Police SWAT Lenco by Seluryar, on Flickr Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority Police SWAT Dodge Sprinter by Seluryar, on Flickr Brook Park Ohio Police SWAT Ford Explorer by Seluryar, on Flickr Federal Government SWAT Rescue: FBI Federal Bureau of Investigation MRAP by Seluryar, on Flickr
  20. Oh, if anyone was aware, Steam now lets you preorder the game, just ordered mine :3
  21. If you want to play everything on high settings, then you should be looking to pay $300 for the CPU and $300 for the video card
  22. Not denying that you took them where you said you took them, I also tag my photos with a location, but on my end, i might have gotten a little overzealous doing so :/
  23. I have seen Baltimore County(MD) fire trucks on the Ohio turnpike a few years ago, but I think they were on their delivery run, you might also catch fire trucks being sent back to the factory for repairs or maintenance checkups. I have also seen Toronto Police motorcycles south of the border in Cleveland a few years ago, as well as buses traveling through Cleveland being delivered(most easily identified by me was a Buffalo NFTA Bus) As just mentioned above this post, They could be doing mutual aid to neighboring communities across state lines, and I believe New York City received help from all over the region in the days after 9/11 for search and rescue. I also recall a train derailment in Canada that received mutual aid from neighboring USA communities.
