Yeah, I agree with everyone about the lag.  It's weird because I was able to play both the Manhattan and Brooklyn mods with no lag at all unless I have a huge fire, and even then, it was never as bad as this mod.  I love this mod and still play it, but less lag would make navigating the map much easier along with everything else.

  2. Have you tried running your modinstaller as an admin?

    This could be a solution for your problem.

    Yeah, it just has that error where it says "911 FR is not properly installed," even though I bought the game on Atari and installed it properly lol.  There's a solution to the problem, I know, but I'm too lazy to mess with registry settings and fix it.  :prop:

  3. There's already loads of FD units, this is mainly a patch about balancing the 3 agencies, and the KME engine will NOT be in any of the mods at any point as tey're ugly as hell so I wont be making them ;)

     

    Makes sense lol.  With the FDNY fleet, new rigs are added constantly so it's gotta be hard to keep up haha.

     

    And just a question, when you call an all hands, does it call all available on-map units as well as some off-map ones?  In the video there were just just off map ones besides the rescue so I'm just confirming...

  4. Is it on the infamous car shop intersection? Or is it at the main street intersection with the donut shop?

     

    Yeah I noticed another spot where the green F350 just stopped.  It was the same street as the taxi bug I think, but it was going in the opposite direction.  I remember this was said before and that the cars just need assigned paths so hopefully that will all be fixed.  Only other bugs for me have already been mentioned, so I'm just gonna say that I'm loving the mod so far and I was able to play for quite awhile yesterday until gridlocked traffic forced me to stop.

     

    One other thing though, the entire mod just seems very laggy.  I doubt it's my computer because I was able to run the NYC mods smoother than this.  I know that you said something about the scripts causing lag, but I just wanted to mention this.  :holdglass:

    Same, but with their work ethic I have no doubt that a patch will be released in a short time.  I feel like they'll try to finish the mod no matter what and won't leave us hangin for too long lol.  ;)

  6. Wow, those screens are awesome!  For once, a mod with a rural map and gameplay, I can't wait to see what new features are in store with this mod!  With that being said, I voted for the Dec. 23rd release because I can live with a few bugs until you get the patch out.

    I've been alive this whole time haha, just didn't post a lot! :laugh:   But yeah, I really like what you've done so far, the new ambulances look really nice.  By the way, is Dyson still doing some work for this??

  8. The Penske skin is nice for that truck, and I like the new bus model.

     

    And about the snow plow, I think the RCMP guys used the same plow from a pack on the emergency-forum.de site.  The front plow portions in that pack were really nice, but all the vehicles were European.  Still, a plow from that pack on one of itchboy's trucks would look great!

  9. I finally found some workarounds to my station parking issues for the time being, but Engine 222 still pulls forward into the station for me...it's weird...

     

    But besides that, I've finally had some time to just sit down and play this mod and it's really cool so far!  Just some little other issues I've noticed:

     

    1. The lights on the unmarked NYPD Explorer are always on; I think whoever did them forgot to change them all to whatever you need to change them to (I forgot lol) so that they only come on when you activate flashing lights.

     

    2.  I don't have the new towtruck animation...anyone else have it?

Not sure why, but I'm still getting parking issues with the stations.  The station on the Southeast side of the map--the engine pulled in a stayed that way.  It didn't back in, so basically it was backwards in the bay.  In the Northwest station, the engine kept trying to park in Ladder 111's spot and ended up just parking outside the station...

  11. I want to start by saying that this is a great mod!  The detail in the map and the new units is just awesome, but there are a few bugs that I wanna report.  So far, I've noticed these in the two times I've played this mod:

     

    Rescue 2 won't park inside the station.  I tried several times, and it always just parked outside.  Same issue with E217 (or whatever one is housed with the tower...)

     

    I couldn't get the ladder out of the station no matter what.  Tried shutting the engine off/on, installing/uninstalling the ladder, but the truck was just stuck.  

     

    I saw this was mentioned before, but the hose disconnect bug where it says "Only chauffeur can disconnect," even though I'm pretty sure that I used the chauffeur to connect the hose.

     

    Well, that's all I've got for now and I'll keep playing and let you know if some of these issues resolve themselves. :holdglass:
