I actually noticed certain games run a bit better on windows 7. Emergency 4 was only slightly better.

Xplorer4x4 I have a 24 inch screen and it looks fine for me also. Ami89E1234 I have actually been here for a good year or two and just made the account a few days ago. I never knew of the resolution tweak.

I seem to be completely missing the editor. It's not in the program files directory like it used to be.

I have it working without a problem You just need to have it on while playing the game. Also remember the key combination you selected to start recording and stop.

I'm not so sure about that. I have an i7 @ 2.8ghz, 9gb of RAM, and a GTS 250. It maxes out most games on a 1920 by 1200 screen but I get a large FPS drop of about 15-20 when nothing is selected in EM4 that cause some lag. P.S. I'm not trying to show off my computer. Just trying to show the FPS drop.

I believe Xfire has a built in screen capture that sacrifices a bit of quality for performance. There probably also are many more like Hypercam.

I suggest you use a program that impacts less on your computers performance.

Although his CPU is not powerful enough. If he is using something like fraps he may want to change to a different program to increase performance but unfortunately it will reduce quality.

I decided to show you what the resolution tutorial will end up doing. The default maximum resolution is 1280 by 1024. The below image. Now you will be able to have any resolution. My monitor size is 1920 by 1200 so I made mine that size. The below image.

Try looking at edges like the edge of the white car or the lines painted onto the ground.

Like I said it's a slight difference. It will be more noticeable on higher resolutions which I will be making a tutorial for soon.

Here's the nice comparison I promised. The left side is with the slight fix while the right side is just standard. BTW Good job on the Audi Hoppah NOTE:This image is slightly distorted. You may be able to see the difference or you may not. I higher quality one will be re-posted.

Thanks I'm just experimenting with higher resolutions. Edit: I successfully got the game working full screen on my 1920 by 1200 monitor. I only need to make a few adjustments to the camera. I'll be making a tutorial soon that will show you how to increase your resolution if it is not supported by the game.
