I am doing a few police and 2 new ambulances. This is focusing on the show remember, not the era.

Do you plan on doing some of the special units that only came to a few calls and what will happen if one of the units gets destroyed at a fire. Also will the medical bag work just like in LA Mod or will it be more advanced.
As of right now, no. I plan on implementing a few "modified" changes to each vehicle to make it unique, but nothing extreme. If a unit gets destroyed at a fire you are SOL lol. But I am toying with the idea of making the vehicles "unexplodable". as of now, the medical will work the same as LA Mod. hence Emergency Submod, not Emergency Mod

so I just spent two hours creating a custom bumper for Squad 51. I realized that was probably the only way I could make it NOT look like crap ha ha

Ha ha I just want to put this out there; but My skills lie in modeling and putting vehicles ingame. I dont want everyone to get their hopes of for an amazing game when I cant even script.

Yes, I ended up making a typo. Station 10 is the large fire house and station 110 is the smaller support station. Also I was reading in my Emergency Book and it said that the show purposely used station numbers that were nowhere near each other.

ha ha time travel. I blame Einstein.
After the initial release I plan on replacing the cars too. But my main concern right now is to get the units ingame and to have them work correctly.

I am working on 3. The first two stations already on the map wont be changed. the third will have 3 vehicles. also with this submod, I am changing the amount of hoses you can hook up to the engine. I am limiting it to 2, so it will be more realistic in fire times(so a structure fire will require atleast 2 engines and a ladder). I was sick in LA MOD where you could literally take out a structure fire with one engine.

Thanks to the kindness of Texas_DPS, I know how the necessary scripts for three fire stations on the free play map.

If you want any help modeling I can offer my services. I have a working version of zmod and 3dsmax that I use. I do pretty detailed models, or at least I think so. You would have to ask anyone else on their opinion of my models. I also UV Map my own models as well. Takes a little more time but I get it done.

Well boiled down, My ideas are thus:
-Change the audio for dispatches(the guy that pops up and says "fire, take care of the fire and any civilians that are injured") from audio clips from the show. Just dispatches.
-For the dispatcher, when you call out a vehicle or station, Have it say "Squad 10 responding"

well I am working on something similar to that. But what you are proposing would require alot of scripting(which I have no experience). I am hoping to find someone with some scripting experience to help out.

I am excited for the new scripts. the pump system looks amazing! I am tired of responding to a large fire and the only real way to put it out is too spam the crap out of it with engines and personnel.

For the personnel I just plan on re texturing them and moving them around some. I was playing around with the idea of making a script so that it will read what time it is ingame, and if it was from the hours of 1600-0500, the personnel that would come out of the station would be in full bunker gear.

I am on break right now so the only thing I will be working on is concepts and procedures.

well for ease of access I might just make it a tiller. the problem with trying to make a mid mount Arial is that I do not believe it has been done before, and would require some fancy scripting.

helljumper51, if these stations are meant to be based of the stations from the actual TV series, you have confused a few. i know this is ur submod and you can do it any way u want, but if you want it the realest it can be, u need to switch station 110 and 10.
in the pilot, it opens on station 10, which we see has engine 10, engine 210, truck 10, battalion 14, and squad 10.
in the episode "the steel inferno", if i remember correctly, station 110 has squad 110, engine 110, and truck 110.
again you can do it however you want, im just pointing out that you have simply confused stations 10 and 110. jsut had to point that out or it was gonna drive me crazy all night long.
So what I can actually do is replace the tiller with ladder 10, becuase in the pilot; ladder 10 was a tiller truck. and then truck 110 is just a rear mount.

As is mine. I have been doing this in my spare time. hopefully I can either learn to modify some scripts or my friend can help me change it up a bit. I would like to be able at some point make it so that there is a dispatcher and the only way to have the units respond is by using the dispatcher.

It was actually good. It mixed TV drama and firefighting. Not like the stupid show rescue me on tv now a days. This show was on in the early 70s.

since almost all of the vehicles use gubdrop lights, its not too difficult. but I am not very good at it lol.

New Squad 51:
