Changing the mod's name

Hi everyone,

I would like to play the LA mod freeplay, where you only control the police. Another helpful member explained to me how I could change that myself and ,for that, I'm very thankful. Now I sadly have another problem. How kan I change the name of the mod? I have copied the LA mod folder I and pasted it in the modules folder. It works perfectly in-game but they are both names LA mod (where you have to select which modification you want to start). So how can i change the name? (I already changed the Map's folder)

all you have to do is rename the mod folder. I made a copy so I could have one with all alterations and submods in it. All I did was add version 2 to the name of the folder.

Wrong

Folder name: "Los Angeles Mod v1.8 version 2"

Now open the file "e4mod.info" (located in the mod folder) with NotePad and change the name to "Los Angeles Mod v1.8 version 2" as well.

Save and exit.

You can make as many copies of the LA Mod as you want this way and they all show up with the new name in the modifications list correctly.
