skynyrd47 Posted August 14, 2014 Report Share Posted August 14, 2014 I have recently downloaded 911 FIrst Responders from gamefly which installed the game and files in a Atari folder, the game works fine unmodded and the installer launches fine. Now, I installed the La Mod through the exe. file that was downloaded and tried both options one with the freeplay map replacement and two with out the freeplay map replacement. I can launch and play EM4 no problem I can load the editor and view all the items for EM4 but when I try and open the LA mod and view them it crashes, say not responding. I Try and start the L.A. Mod from their desktop Icon crash, I go through EM4 and it gets up and running and then go to the modifcations tab and try and open the LA Mod, BAM crash again I have modded numerous games and this isnt my first rodeo I know there is something small I missed. MikeyPI Posted August 15, 2014 Report Share Posted August 15, 2014 Wait for a while, even though it says it is not responding it is loading the files, this is normal behavior for a modification... Wait around 10 minutes or so at the worst it should load then... Depending on your pc's performance dictates the load times, some are only a few minutes (2-4) others have to wait 15.
