Guest schmiller21 Posted August 25, 2010 Report Share Posted August 25, 2010 Downloaded the LA Mod 2.0, and then the patch for the configuration file.When I try to open the game, it takes forever to load.Eventually it loads.I can start the first mission. If I choose to do the tutorial, where it begins with training on a Burn Building at the training facility, it allows me to open up the window to select which Fire Truck to select, but then it doesn't let me select one. It just freezes basically. If I hit ESC, it takes me to the pause screen where I can "go back" or start the campaign over (which takes me right to the first mission)I can play the first mission just fine, but after the screen pops up that gives me my Percentage for the mission it doesn't do anything. The Percentage window disappears, and the town keeps going about it's business. All the cars keep moving, but nothing else.It doesn't even allow me to ESC to get to the Menu.What is going on here? I'm running Windows 7 Professional.It's a new laptop, only a few months old.What am I missing here?Email me with any tips please....Put 911 First Responders in the subject line so I know it's not spam. Over the past hour your email address has now been archived in a number of search engines, not to mention it has likley already been harvested for spam bots. Never post your email in public.
