Help with Siren script

Hi

I wanted to comment in the topic of the siren script of hoppah but i don't know waht happened to that topic

so i will post my problem here

I put the 8 files that came with the siren script in my mod folder, and added to the vehicle vcmdsiren and vcmdsirenOff

Then i edited the Script file but the siren script appears but there is no siren :(

Can anybody help with this problem? Thanks

From what I can see on your const char CAR_04 the line should look like what is in your modfile line. so for example it should look like this:

const char CAR_04[] = "mod=Prototypes/Vehicles/Police/Kangoo_Blau.e4p";

there can not be any spaces in your const char.

did you try putting it in another section of sirens? I know different types of vehicles need different areas on the siren scripts.

I do not understand, what you mean?

I'm not very good at scripts

today i tried with the "sondersignal script" that i found on other forum to realize that it was the same script but in german :(

Is there other script? Or a solution to this :P will be the same

Of course spaces are allowed. Make sure KPD.wav is mono. :)

Then your problem is the audio file did not contain any sound?

the problem was that the silence(or something like that) button was selected. Now the siren works :D
