how to learn german

Recommended Posts

Around where I live, you can learn loads of languages. The most common extra languages taught around here, in order of how commonly they are taught (top - most commonly taught):

- French

- Spanish

- German

- Various Asian languages (mostly western, but some eastern too)

I practise mostly German, but am also learning Japanese (only spoken & romanised at the moment) and French. Occasionally I learn some Scandinavian languages, but not very often. I wouldn't call myself fluent in any of them yet, and I can only really understand a German person speaking (German's very easy for me).
