Scaling Selections in ZModeler?

How do I scale the whole selection? Seems I can only scale one object at a time. Must be able to scale multiple objects at a time.

hotkey 3(face mode)

select the pieces)

press space(selected mode), go to modify. submesh, detach(to new model disable drag)

Press space again.(deselect selected mode)

scale down that model part.

attach the part to the model again. draw new lines to fill them up.
