Whenever i try and open LA Mod 2.1s .dds files an error comes up saying file format module can not parse this file. Anybody know anything bout this?

Where can I download Emergency 3 where im able to download the mods for it and everything works right? I have already downloaded the game from amazon but I can't download mods or anything. The game works good and all but I want the mods. Ive looked into my programs and the game is not under wizard works but its under amazon games. Can someone help me?

Hi.. Since i am unable to get the emergency 3 modinstaller to work, i was wondering, does anyone have a copy of the folders used in the london mod. I would be able to install the london mod if it gave me the folders, however the download only includes a .e3mod file which i can't open due to the mod installer not working. If i anyone can email the folders to billys1995@ymail.com it would be greatly appreciated, alternatively, i was wondering if instead of actually installing the mod, i could just replace the london vehicles and uniforms, in .dds format with the default ones in game. If anyone knows if this is possible a reply is appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

So i've been wanting to get this fixed for some time now, i purchased a legal digital download of the game from gamersgate a while back. After completing the campaign I tried installing mods, only to find the mod installer doesn't work, it gives, "Emergency 3 is not properly installed, please re-install" every time, i have tried contacting strategy first support and their support reps told me i had to install to C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Emergency 3 for the game to work correctly, however i have tried reinstalling the game to this location and it is to no avail. I currently have the game installed in this location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Strategy First\Emergency 3 I'm running a 64-bit version of Windows 7 and i have tried the registry edit for both HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. This has still not resolved the problem. I've included a printscreen of the two registry keys i've added incase i've incorrectly named the registry keys during the fix. If anyone could tell me how to install mods without the installer, i'm also looking to install the london mod, i am unsure if this is available to download without being in .e3mod format, which i am unable to install due to the installer not functioning correctly. Any suggestions are appreciated, and thank you in advance HKEY_CURRENT_USER HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

I have read a little about making Emergency 3 fullscreen on some websites but they never go into depth in how to do it. So I need someones help here please, They said to find a file and change the numbers to whatever it needs to be. Obviously I don't know much about it. Could someone tell me what that file is and tell me how to get there?? Thanks

Hello people, Hopefully Emergency 3 is still "popular" for mod gameplay.I recently have been thinking over a week now if there should be an Northern Virginia mod for EM3. If you know how to make car models,sirens,units,and also map designs,PM me for the pictures and I'll explain it from there. Extra Stuff =================================================================== -Loudoun County Sherrifs Office serves most of Loudoun County -Can somebody be willing to also make a custon map if possible? (if not that's ok) -I'll take pictures of the Fire,EMS,and Police units to give you a look of what it looks like -Might need somebody to make a "Read-me" -make it into a zip. file -add a couple mission -And if this can happen,i'll come in with new ideas

MOVED WRONG SPOT!

Hi i downloaded this game from atari, im new to this, everything works fine, no lag, no sound issues, just when i load a freeplay or start a campagin game the screen is black. parts of roads and objects can be seen but everything is black, i do not get kicked out or anything, i do not know whats going on, any help please:)? my specs: asus laptop runing windows 7 64 bit, intel core i3 @ 2.20 ghz, 4gb ram

Hey there, I purchased EM3 last year. I just recently bought a new windows 7 64bit computer and am having issues getting the mod installer working. I have tried the regkey edit. ANd have re-installed it aswell..5-6 times. Not sure what else to do. Would be nice to get mods to work. any help is much appreciated. thanks.

Here we go, as you all know or most of you that have Win 7 the mods you try to install sometimes dont work right. It makes me very aggravating when i install a mod and the icon for the car comes up white or a building is white or something like that. Also the mod installer doesnt work! Which excuse my language but it pisses me off! If someone could really help all of us out there on why this is happening please help! also ive already tried the graphics changing thing, That doesnt work.

Whenever I try to launch Emergency 3 it crashes to desktop as soon as I click the shortcut. It has worked in the past but every time I've tried to play recently it just crashes. I did try reinstalling it but it still has the same issue. Here's the code that comes with the crash. Immediatly after the crash it says "Em3.RWG has stopped working". Thanks.

I recently lost my copy of Emrgency 4 because of the Direct2Drive merger, and this might sound incredibly stupid but, is it at all possible to use Emergency 4 models to replace ones from Emergency 3? Specifically I'd like to use The Emergency 4 LA mod engine and Foam Tender to replace the one's in the Emergency 3 version of the mod. Sorry if this sounds wrong or idiotic. Thanks.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but can you decrease the frequency of emergencies in free play in Emergency 3(US)? They seem to come much faster than they did in Emergency 4. Thank you.

I've made a mod by switching models in the editor, but some of my persons will repeat animations and go out of control -Officers with guns will recoil several times in between shots, (but the time in between shots is the same.) -Sharpshooters will shoot once and continue to recoil, the won't stop and they won't give any commands -If a Squad member is shot and down, they won't fall, they'll repeatedly do the '"get shot" animation. I don't need to do this, -I gave the Medic the ability to drop the emergency case and lift people, the people will rise over his shoulder, but the medic will repeatedly drop to the ground to pick people up -I replaced the 2 man medic team with one man, he works fine until he tries to lift somebody, he will do the same as the medic trying to lit somebody -The new paramedic [team, one guy] will walk up to a door, and he will repeat the animation for opening a door and can't move/ do anything If somebody could help me out, that would be great

Hi, I tried downloading a few mods for Emergency 3, I have WinRaR and when I click Extract it says "Windows can not find a program associated with this file" And then it says "break operation" I tried LA Mod 2.5, Windenburg, and Notruf Mod.They all give the same message when trying to extract it. Hey, I tried to move the la mod's cv into my own lught mod, but when I moved the model and protypes, (BTW i replace the stw with it) the model appeared with no wheels doors, and the texture was a flattened missing model box, Can anyone help me out? Thanks

This is to clear up most confusion with people who don't know how yo use the mod installer, so I've created a tutorial to help clear things up, if this could be pinned I would love said mod forever. Anyways... First find your mod that you want to download, for this tutorial I have chosen my Judgment Day Beta mod. Other mods for emergency 3 can be found here on the site's Download centre After finding your mod, click on its link in the download centre, a new page will open with more specific details about the mod in question and the option to download it. Click the download button that is boxed in red only. You will then be taken to the site's agreement for download. These are the terms of agreement that you must accept to download any file from the download centre. After you've read this go ahead and accept the terms. Now that you have accepted the terms your download will begin. On Firefox your browser will display a confirmation asking if you wish to download the file, select save file and then hit okay. Your download will start. Upon the download ending select the file in your download que, and right click selecting the "Open containing folder You will be taken to the location of your download. When you find your download you will need to extract the file, To do so right click the zipped mod folder and select the "Extract all files" option. Windows will then ask you where you wish to extract the files to.Extract them to a location of your choice. Now you need to open your mod installer! This is going to be (By default) in your start menu under Strategy First > Emergency 3 (If you have the united states version.) Once there find the mod installer icon and click on it. When you start up the mod installer a small window will appear, since we are installing a mod we will select "Install package" Now navigate to where you extracted your mod file, this will differ with user to user. When you do find your mod click it once and hit Open at the bottom of the browse window. Your mod will now begin to install, this may take a long time. If more than 30 minutes passes your computer is likely frozen. Once the modinstaller has finished installing your mod it will display the following screen: That's it! You're finished, now exit the modinstaller, open the game, and launch your modification from the "Modifications" button on the main menu.
