When i install patch 1.03 for emergency 3 it deletes the files Em3, vBase71.dll, em3.cgf, vision71.dll and it doesn't install the mod installer. can you please help me to install mods !

Hi , I am trying to reskin a normal car from the game. , to turn it into a police cvr and transform the text because its is showing up as if you are looking at it from a mirror ( the car isone in the original package.) Whan I'll try to reskin (using Zmodeler) U choose the polygons i need and when i make generate new map. i am having problems with the ones i havent choosen here i hava a pic to explain The green arrow shows the part i Need to reskin The Blue Arrow show the part that is coming interrupted help is appriciated , Thanks alot Darren

Hi, can someone help me with m13. i evacuate most ppl from the station and have my units ready. get lots of injured to hospital-but it always says mission failed-too many casualties. What am i doing wrong? is it because i cant multitask so well or im not so fast? all ppl cut out of train cars just too many other ppl to take care of so i dont get to some ppl in time. i use rescue dog to track down ppl and i rescue all ppl under debris. also fire in donut shop doesnt want to go out no matter how many units i have- have given it 3 water tenders and 4 firemen with hoses- it just doesnt go out

hi, i have some questions about the editor. im pretty sure how to get people up on top of buildings. you just set the building to walkable, right? also, HOW do you create your own textures for the editor?

Can Someone explainsl me how to create a mod ?? I am using the Emergency 3 editor. I only figured out how to make water and insert people houses etc in the map but I don't know how to create roads , create new cars , make grass etc... I am not trying to make a big mode, cause I am a beginner in these things. I just want to learn. Can someome help in doing these things? Thanks.

When i try to start emergency 3 it comes up with a box saying that theres an error with em3.exe and that it has to close. It used to work untill i had to reboot my pc and then it stopped. When i first got the game it had the same error message so i kept installing it untill it worked on the 12th time (no idea why ). Please tell me if there is anything i can do to get it working again as i am desperate to play it but the error happens with most of my pc games (that worked before the reboot) and i am going nuts not being able to play them or new ones i buy. PLEASE!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!

Hello, I bought the downloadable version of E3 from StrategyFirsts online shop, have installed it fine, game plays fine, but when I try to run the ModInstaller it says "Emergency 3 is not properly installed. Please reinstall." I've already tried reinstalling but it didnt appear to help, any tips?

Hello, I am not sure what this error is, em3 has caused a error in Vision71.dll but a friend of mine says that he gets this error when he trys to play his emergency 3 game, he has what it takes to run this game, but he dont have any internet...sucks to be him.... anyways he asked me to ask around in here and see if anyone can help him....

i have some light bars but with no lights how can you make the lights flash and stuff???

So I have EM3 the US downloaded version from d2d. Along with the mod install problem it didn't come with an editor. Stan's advice was add ~editor in front of the em3.exe file... that worked to an extent. Well I added that command and from what little I could tell it started to load the editor but before in finished loading it has some error and then gives the ~editor em3.exe needs to close message. I can't tell what it says or what it is or isn't loading because it goes way to fast and closes before I can do anything. any help?

I wanted to update my video drivers (it's an ATI Mobility RADEON X700) and I found an update for it on the ATI site (see here). But it says its a Catalyst Display driver, is that the same as a normal video card driver? And if it is the same: do I need to put it in a specific folder once I've downloaded it (and if yes, which one)? I know it's probably a simple question but I just wan't to be sure, I've never done this before. Thanx, Thijs

Ok so I looked at the walk through but I still can't figure out how to bet this mission. I can not get the car out of the water. It will not let my Crain get close enough to pick up the car. What do I do???

Hi... I downloaded the LA Mod for Emergency 3. I have a French Version (I bought the game in Paris.. I'm not French ) It says in "ReadMe" that I have to Install the Patch 3 (v1.03) But.. I cant find that patch.. I would like to know Where I cant get that Patch?... Does the La Mod works in the French Version.. If I have to Install aditional Patches... Pleaese someone Help Thanks

OK i just got the editor working with help from Limited.English and i was wondering if someone would be willing to give me a brief explanation on how to create a mod the help file for editor is to confusing. I bought Em3 awhile ago off the internet and then just downloaded it off the net. I rebooted the computer, so I lost everything. And now I can't find the website where I purchased the game from to re-download it again! FTW, any of you guys know where the website is lol. I believe I bought it for 20 dollars, 20 u.s. dollars.

Me and Hoppah are tring to start working on a new mission for emergency 3 which can be played in campaign. the mission name is : The North Hollywood Shootout (this is based on a true story) It happened on Friday 28th February 1997 in Los Angeles. were a branch of the Bank Of America was robbed by 2 suspects armed with Ak 47's and body armour. ( the gun fight took very long ( it was a situation that had never been seen before ) and LAPD officers managed to stop the suspects ). Now I got out with the idea to make this mission for emergency 3. ( I Hope it would be a success , interesting and fun to play.) ( thanks to the help of hoppah ) Any help is accepted!! THIS MISSION CAN REMIND THE BRAVE WORK OF THE OFFICERS IN THE LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT.

G'day, I'm stuck on the avalance mission, I have use 3 rescue dogs and plucked 5-6 ppl out of snow and transported to Hospital along with trapped under debris and car but it still says there still dead or injury person out there but cant find them anywhere, cant have my dogs to sniff all day! lol :23_31_4: please help Thanks in Advance

I haven't been playing E3 for very long, I have played E2 before on my friend's computer, but I really stink at the police missions. If I were a police officer in the game controlling my own movements (example ducking behind a police cruiser, etc), it would be way easier, but the cops in E3 are hard to work with. Let me give an example: The traffic check mission. When it started, I knew by the calm nature of the mission that someone will either shoot one of the officers, or run the speed trap. As I've said in the last topic I posted, I have the LA Mod, so when the fugitive shot the speed camera, I was sort of dumbfounded that I couldn't command the two officers at the speed trap, since LAPD officers are armed. I shrugged it off and called in a CHP patrol unit, and an SUV with SWAT Officers in it. They caught up to the bad guy, and I made the mission a lot harder than it should have been. I got the SWAT officers out of the SUV, and drew their weapons. The bad guy started firing, so I had them fire back. The problem is, these cops can't be told to duck behind their car or something, so 4 of them got shot (and were wounded), along with one of the CHP officers. I got frustrated and just sent the other CHP officer to wrestle the gun out of his hand and handcuff him. That worked...go figure. So while I'm getting medical units to take care of the injured police officers, I get a mission failure for too many casualties...probably because I forgot to get the second bad guy out of their crashed car. Any suggestions for these police missions to better protect the officers? The same thing happened in the cinema bomb mission, when I sent SWAT closer to the bombers, they get shot at. If I return fire, mission failed. So they can shoot at me, but if I return fire after being fired upon, I get a failure?!!

Hello all, just got E3 recently, and first and foremost... God Bless Hoppah!! I absolutely LOVE the LA Mod!! :1046275747_biggthumpup: Now, I must advise you, I'm still getting used to the game, so I DO use the money cheat, I'm not that great in the money management department So I loaded up the (default) major highway collision (the one with the bus and multiple cars, one in the river), and first thing that I thought was, we want to prevent further accidents by re-directing traffic and getting rubber-neckers safely away from the road. So I quickly sent two LAPD patrols to the scene with an engineer van to light up the stop sign, followed by an LAFD truck, two ambulances (to start with..) and an EMT Hummer. I'm off to a decent start, I get the firefighters to cut cars open, EMTs starting their work, LAPD directing traffic, and the alert thingy comes up saying more tire tracks than vehicles. I then saw the broken guardrail and the skid marks leading into the water.."SHIT!!!!" So then I'm trying to think how to get this car out of the water. My first thought was a crane, but how would the crane know where to look? I noticed the utility booth across the river, and I know it was probably a wrong assumption, but I thought maybe it blocks the dam or something, draining the river. I call in a bridge vehicle (although I don't think it could've built a bridge across that river!) and it alerts me to on-lookers on the other side of the highway. I think there might have been a stop light on that side but wasn't sure, and the two sides were blocked by guardrails, so I couldn't send one of the LAPD cars across. So I call in a chopper from LAPD, hoping it can carry civilians, and as it arrives, E3 says Mission Failed, onlooker hit by car. So I figured I was too slow in getting LAPD over there. (Damn I wish E3 was multiplayer!!) So what did I do wrong? I don't want a complete solution, just a push in the right direction... Thanks.
