  1. @suferman, mine does the same thing. when you download the LA mod and it appears on your desktop, click it and run the download sequence(you will get the invalid installation error). then make sure to manually place it in the correct 911 first responders folder (it will be under wizard words, not sixteen tons entertainment like the mod wants it to be.) then once it has downloaded and it asks youto create a desktop icon say yes. after that always start the game using the desktop icon, and it will work. HOPE THIS HELPS!

  2. HI, I don't really have much knowledge on scripting and the like. I'm trying to edit my LAFireStationstart.cript to change around my vehicle staffing. that i can do fine. But, when I try to save it, it tells me access is denied. I'm using a dell computer running windows 7, and my account is set to system administrator.

  3. the one thing that hasnt actually really been done, is an american rural mod. there some that are WIP. But, they are just that. 70% of firefighters in America are volunteers in smaller communities. Why don't you guys give that a shot, with small towns, volunteer responding to the stations. An aged mix of apparatus, longer response times, more chances for the fire to grow, field on fire, people injured in difficult to access areas. Things that are dealt with in a rural area. just a thought. I'm sick of inner city mods lol.

  4. its called a squamper, or squad pumper. they have been around for awhile. Some companies even build full engines with a 500 gallon tank and 1000gpm pump. looks like a raised roof firetruck with an extra long cabin. the stretcher goes in the rear seating area sideways and you have all the med equipment against the wall. Overall they fail at life lol

  5. hmm lol. I now work on the single busiest ambulance in the entire state of Indiana. Wishard medic 11. my last shift I ended up working overtime so was there for 18 hours doing a total of 16 calls(kinda slow, we average 14 in a 12 hour shift)

did several sick persons, several chest pains, couple injured persons, few assualts, a car accident, a fire standby, and one mental sickness. only one real call. was a bundle branch block we took code 3 to the hospital.

  6. GRR the State of Indiana Department of Homeland Security. why in the hell does it take 6-8 weeks for me to receive my damned firefighting certification, yet it only took 2 weeks for the Department of Health to get me my CNA cert. something tells me one department has better staffing than another!!!!
