so after some thought into this problem, it seems the lights at the intersection stay red when the cars coming from the new light get stuck in traffic. Seems to me the only way to fix this is to put in another stop light. I will try and put up an image of what i mean.
But it should work fine cause i never have any traffic jamsby the cause of traffic lights. Only rare aoccasions that 2 cars get stuck with each other but the map should work besides that. Maybe a bit of standard sollutions but check wether you have the latest patch for EM4 or 911:FR

The easyest thing to do is go into freeplay, open the "spawn points" button in the editor pane, select each spawn point entering the map and set it lower or to zero. personally I've never had any traffic problems in v2.0, you have that right? If not I sugest you get it.

me neither.... everything works like a charm. exept for my patrol cars which occasionaly get stuck with traffic at intersections. but thats easy to solve by just hitting the patrol button again.

In this post is a way to reduce the traffic bij lowering a factor but same should work with a higher traffic factor to get more traffic

I don't think that green light has to do with the traffic jam at the red lights. There is something blocking the crossing at one of the traffic lights which causes that the keep being red. If you keep having this each time you start a new freeplay then you should try reinstalling the mod. I actually only have a traffic jam when a patrolcar gets stuck on the intersection with another car. traffic lights work fine for me.

I've encountered this bug too. I just get the handler back into the car and empty the car again, then he gets the dog out.
Another thing I noticed is sometimes I hear sheep in the area when the dog is out and he seems to wander a bit like he's herding.
I had that one time to with a riot, the dog was lost everytime. Even calling him by the handler didn't work because he comes a bit closer and then runs off somewhere else.

The k9-unit doesn't seem to get closer when attacking persons. He bites them from the place where he is standing already and in some cases from a long distance

Look in your start menu, programs, to "Sixteentons Entertainment" or "WizardWorks" and in that list you will find de editor from which you can edit maps etc. It is already with the game.

In this case traffic light on the 1 side is green
Or it is just timed perfectly when all of the lights were red... wonder if there is a deley between each light when it jumps to green. In that case it could be a sollution since the jams happen because of traffic that is crossing at the same time.

The k9 unit works quite good but the dog often walk away from the dogleader. Makes it difficult to give him commands because he gets far. Isn´t there a possibility to line the dog with the leader?
furthermore the mod works smooth on my very old computer so good job hoppah.

I often hotkey the Bat. Chief with number 1 to qucikly get to his panel wherever I am on the map.

nothing more then a obstacle to block the cars, same story with the police fences which stops peds from passing them.
I often use them as an extra at accidents when redirecting cars

Isn't it possible to see the events by looking in de Editor to the map?

There's a problem just there. That means it will take 5-10-15 seconds to remove one tree, like with the chainsaw. Might be a little too long, and then a few guys with chainsaws would be better.
BUT:
If there is anyhow the timer could be set to 0.5 seconds it would work pretty well
Then still... if you cut down a tree there will be a piece of wood lying on the ground which only can be removed by the crane.
Besides that do we actually need such a thing on the map. Takes away all the fun of the game and is in my opinion to much trouble to make than its worth.

I've noticed I can't stop cars/civilians with the unmarked crownvic when I use the chase command. The vehicle just keeps following the suspect and that's all.

Like Hoppah explained, chances are in real life if some one has a gun, there not going to surrender just because a cop or cops pull there gun on them.
In my experience it depends on which distance you are from the suspect. Often I can still use the armed arrest command on armed suspects and they will surrender. But if the police officers come to close within shooting range of the suspect it will fail. In that case it ends up in a shooting between suspect and officers.

Great! Don't worry about the other thing, I can change it myself. Will it be on the front doors or rear panels? I prefer the front doors but it's your call.

Maybe they do that in real life, but to keep diversity between the units in the mod, it's mostly PD who handles the traffic during incidents.
Besides that it is part of the gameplay right? In real life people don't need some firefighter to tell them to turn around. When you see the firetruck and an accident which you can't pass you will redirect yourself. Assuming you are not braindead

Yeah, I play with the additional vehicals submod but I just got that, and it tottaly shuts off my computer, and it is not due to overheat because I just cleaned it.
I also have the same problem with the LA mod with submod of additional vehicles. I think it is just the amount of information which is to much for your PC and then it shuts down the process. When I play misisons I can still start another mission without any problem... only with freeplay the game shuts down when I try to load something else.

Further to stay on-topic... does sit really takes so much time to just load the LAX units that it will make a difference. I mean they are just as useless as the highway patrol, army, fbi and port police if you ask me.

In Emergency 4 LA mod 1.8.1 is lot of bugs. ETC. cannot use flares, coners and warning lights!! But good is: No crash
Bugs?? everything works fine here!

Ive been playing the mod for a while now, great job btw, but i noticed that the police etc can equip barricades, and no vehicle has them, how can i put up barricades, or "enable them"?
They do have them. You find the barricade in the LAPD SUV and the Sherrif Hummer has them too.

I want the LA Mod v1.3 slicktop and the v1.1 light equip utility back so bad, like its driving me crazy bad how would i do that for myself what files would i have to move? Please help this is killing me

yeah but that thats pushing the alarm button to fill up the trucks... all of them. After that you have to open de doors and then select the units you need for the dispatch. Using the battalion chief only takes choosing which unit and then send it to its location. Rest goes automaticly
