Yup pretty much... The developers want nothing to do with mod support... They don't answer anyone..

I messaged them again reminding them that nothings been changed to help with "English" tutorials and all they sent me was "how to skin a cow tutorial" and I was utterly shocked as we both know it doesn't work haha

Bit of research and feedback would be the only way to tackle the current problems, but seems as the developers of the game don't really help us then I think there is a line drawn for now on how far the modding capabilities of this game will go.

You'll find it fairly difficult bud, if I was you I'd go on the forum for em5 and see the struggles were all facing with just modding it

I think the SimCity games are the entry points which got me into RTS/Simulator type games. I've pretty much tried most of them that are out there, though my childhood ones are definitely SC, Car Tycoon, and this:

Then there's the NFS Series of games, the first I tried being NFS2SE, which got me hooked into cars as well. My fascination with vehicles and simulation landed me in the EM-Series when I went searching for emergency vehicle game, and one of the search results was a game demo for Em4. Thats when the love affair started for me.

Hahaa awesome , same here, I Stumbled across emergency 4 after i completed the 'Fire department' series, have you ever played them? I thought they were awesome. I myself much prefer RTS games ect especially the 'Roller coaster/Zoo tycoon series.

One game I prefered to simcity was "city life 2008" I much prefer that to sim city

Unfortunately its not just this game. I have noticed it with Train Simulator 2016 aswell. Its no different from the 2015 version apart from it has less routes included and your expected to buy more as DLC... If you brought every single bit of DLC for Train Sim... You will need roughly £3000

Unfortunately most games are like this, when I bought the very first edition of "Company Of Heroes" through till "Tales Of Valour" everything was more or less included in the game with access to all features.

Then when they released Company of Heroes 2, I purchased it for the game but when I clicked campaign, it turns out they'd want you to spend a little more for the campaign itself, plus all the extras. I mean I didn't mind paying for the American Campaign as it was a later release and I prefered it.

But to cut along story short, I think in the very near future most games that are bought now, wether it be on steam, or in store on any gaming platform, they'll give you less for your money, and expect you to pay more for the "extra content" which really isn't the case. Its just one big cash scam, but the more people buy the dlc's ect, the worse this will get for gaming on a whole.

Completely agree with all above comments, when I purchased em5 I was expecting something bigger and better and more realistic, I will say the graphics are great but other than that, the game itself isn't worth the time or money investing in.

Does anyone know how much z modeller costs in price!?

Problem is with em5, my dad had a quite decent gaming tower which he built himself and was able to play a huge variety of games, including the latest arma game along with medal of honour ect, but em5 does use a substantial amount of power to run, and sadly his tower couldn't run it at all, with constant lag ect it ruined the whole concept of playing it. my laptop runs it in ultra with no lag, it all fairness to get the most out of this game, I'd upgrade your computer.

Im going to have a little look tonight once I finished my 3D model, if I find anything out I'll let you guys know asap!

I had this issue also with z modeller, its completely free, but without purchasing a licence then you cant import/export so its pointless, best bet is to download blender

Personally I downloaded windows 10, its a great set up but after a couple days I started to realise it threw all of my graphics and performance off when playing games. I used to be able to play EM5 and Company Of Heroes 2 ect in ultra grade graphics, but as soon as windows 10 updated, I was barley even able to play them in the lowest graphics setting possible, so I switched back to windows 8.1 which is brilliant for me and now all my games run in ultra again

Im running em4 on windows 8.1, and have had no issues after it automatically installed the direct x ect. Only issue I currently face is the screen resolution.

Always fancied one of these! But in the end I settled for my new phone at the time as I needed a new one plus a camera, so I bought a phone with a 41mega pixel camera built in and it takes spectacular images and videos with precision. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Even on captured images when zooming into the far distance, the picture is still 100% clear with no blur or distortion.

if you've installed the new supervisor files before, then just bring up the file it came in, and take a look where it goes. What I mean is, open the zip, and in the zip will be Data > Etc Etc

Ahhh right okay! I haven't actually downloaded the "l.a mod supervisor" as I wanted to create my own from the original, im just having a hard time trying to find where it is ect.

Im looking to make a new supervisor just like the one made l.a mod. I was wondering if anybody knew how to edit the "supervisors speech" and where I can locate it! Thanks.

When I click Start Game in the launcher, the games instantly freezes at the splash screen. I can't even alt-tab out; have to cntrl-alt-delete. When I do this, the game starts running in the background; I choose start task manager and the game keeps running when in the background but when I bring it to the front; it freezes instantly again. I have tried many things to fix this: setting compatability to the launcher.exe and the emergency5.exe to run as administrator, set up a profile in catalyst control center to disable crossfire and give application control to all settings in ccc, disabled antivirus and firewall in McAfee.I also unplugged all other monitors then rebooted. All this has had no effect. It does run in windowed mode, but I really want it fullscreen. I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Have you downloaded all the latest patches for EM5!???

One other thing to consider is your performance on your computer tower/laptop!? Firstly though I'd double check that you have downloaded all the patch's for Emergency 5.

Does anyone know how to edit the text along the top of events menu in emergency 4 freeplay!? I.e where it would say "car crash" or "structure fire", any helpor advice would be great thanks!

Seems strange, the only time I get that is if I extract it directly to the mods folder, which is why I unzip it to desktop then copy it to mods folder. It maybe worth reporting it as broken but there may be other people having the same issue! I have never had an issue but who knows hahaa !
