  1. Oh, Ok.. I didn't know it was common, still sucks though if you're in a huge battle with a fire and it crashes.. oh well!
  2. I'm currently at college replying to this, but before I left I played some EM4, I went to task manager looking for what you had mentioned under the properties (I never saw a way to set the affinity). What I did do was run a compatibility test, which suggested I run EM4 on Windows XP SP3 (I think, I can't remember as again I'm at school) I loaded the mod up no first time crash or anything like normal the game played well for 30 minutes before I had to leave to go to school to do some work I had procrastinated on. So maybe it's fixed? I'm not sure I know it didn't crash any so that's always good. I'll give it another go tonight for a longer stint lets hope for an hour of solid game-play! .. Thanks for the suggestion though without it I wouldn't of known to even look in that direction!
  3. I mean I know how to build it and everything but anything beyond that I was too afraid to deal with... When I set it to use only four cores what does that do? Also is there anything I need to worry about when doing it? Last dumb question.. I promise, How do I set it to only use four cores?
  4. Ok so I totally uninstalled 911:FR as well as the mod (deleted the mod in it's entirety from my computer). I then re-installed everything, re-downloaded the mod, installed everything. Fired up the game, it then crashed 10 seconds into the game (about the time you should be getting your first call out). I didn't let that pesky crash keep me down so I fired the game back up again and it played fine, it lasted I think 30 minutes. I then had a random crash upon receiving a fire call out while I was in the middle of dealing with a fire already in progress some where else. Regretfully I do not have that log file from that crash. Now every time I try to play the mod it crashes about 10 seconds in (about the time you should be getting your first call out) I attached my log from my recent attempt to play the game. Computer specs are as follows: CPU: AMD FX 63000 Six-Core Processor 3.50 GHz GPU: Powercolor AMD R9 280 series RAM: 8GB System: 64-bit OS: Windows 10 All my drives are up to date. logfile.txt
  5. I have a question, prior to a couple days ago; the mod would crash if, and only if, I had just started 911: First Responders for the first time after starting my computer. After it crashed once, I would go back and start 911: First Responders again and load the mod up and I would be able to play Free-Play for an undetermined amount of time (being that it is unstable it would sometimes last 30 minutes to an 2 Hours before crashing) However, Now it crashes everytime I load the mod and enter free-play. This only started happening last night... I will add that 2 days ago I upgraded my computer to Windows 10, and last night was the first time trying to play the mod since upgrading to windows 10.. However 911: First Responders runs fine, as does the LA Mod... Computer Specs: MOBO: ASUS Micro ATX DDR3 2000 AMD AM3+ MotherboardGPU: Powercolor AMD R9 280 CPU AMD FX-6300
