  1. Hello. Just a update that i'm still here. I recently started another fulltime job, and now work roughly 70 hours a week. I plan to quit (or atleast work only one day a week) at my first job. The only progress i've made really is making the map work (again) with the help of itchyboy, and the construction of some new houses. I also have been working on making templates for ELS, with the use of a new tool on the german forum which allows for blender to create ELS.

    Also, somehow with my new job i kind of used this thread in my application. They seemed very interested in it. 

    Here's some images of what i've been up to. I've also made something deemed 'Phantom's soundtrack pack' found here https://www.emergency-planet.com/files/file/1357-phantoms-soundtrack-pack/
    this replaces all of the normal soundtracks, atleast for my version of the game. i'm unsure if there are different sound tracks in EM4 or EM4D, since i'm running ole reliable 911 FR.

  2. Recap on recent projects, much more active in Emergency 4 Cental discord. A lot of these units are unfinished, i.e missing ELS, or unfinished textures. Wheels are place holders so they're not floating. Pleased to say 5 of the rears are made from scratch by me, many of which inspired by the youtube channels 'Demon Racer, and Rainman14'
    Also a peek at a new and improved trailer. I made a trailer pack eons ago, but apparently never posted it here, along with my (terrible) Peterbilt 379 cab that is too embarrasing to show.

  3. I decided to delete my FD folder, and restarted. again. the only vehicles moving on are E111 (pictured below) and the USAR trailer i had made previously. T116 is a new vehicle i made using THVFD's tanker body and Itchyboy's Peterbilt 330. I also rebranded from 'Platy County' to Hendrick County. although, after just glancing at my images it would appear my brain does not work, and it's both Henderson and Hendrick county. Will be fixed. 
    Platy County EMS and Medstar will be staying (of course being renamed to Hendrick County EMS), and LVPD will be staying. I'm thinking of ditching PCSO's livery for something new, but i'm not sure what. I will however be adding Tennessee State Police (my favorite looking ones, and as Logi-Valley is entirely fictional, it works for me.)
    Something else i've been working on, is a Publix. it's pretty barren at the moment, though.
    And with that, i'll crawl back into my den. Incase you havent seen it, check out my updated UI too :) we're at V0.0.5 now!

  4. Hey! was curious who the credit would go to for the coronas included? was interested in using them myself, if that's allowed. Thanks.

     

    -edit - i did look through the amazing credits file, just didn't notice the credits i was looking for. might just be an oversight by me.

    I definitely agree, it needs to be changed, but i'm not sure how. I like the 'new' one more than the default, though.

  6. Hello! As some of you may know, a while ago i released a very conceptual, and unfinished product deemed Phantom's UI - Since then, i've picked up some time and motivation to further polish, or rather revamp the 'mod' entirely. But, i'm fresh out of ideas, and am looking for some input on what designs, or simply ideas you all would like to see. Right now i'm working on the menus, as seen here, but would also love ideas for the GUI in-game too. As seen in the video i released, i'm pretty happy with the buttons being on the side. I may change the colors, or include different colored menus just for personalization of your own menu. 

    With any of your ideas, feel free to leave/link some cool images you'd like to see as backgrounds for the different screens!

    I see you have done yourself a service and learned a few things since 2015. ;) It seems to be paying off! Keep up the good work and I hope one day your complete the Honey Creek Modification. Being from Indiana myself it would be nice to see a rural Indiana based mod. Just don't forget the cornfields! ;) 

     

    Oh and kinda OT, but your UI mod looks good. I would suggest doing something to downplay the flashing lights on the main menu. It's a little to harsh on the eyes on that scale imo. Also I think you should follow suit with the rest of the blue ui accents/buttons turning them black. Keep up the good work on that as well! 

    lmao yeah came a bit since then. Wouldn't have been here without the teachers i've had along the way, especially itchyboyo and THVFD. Thanks mate. have yourself a good one.

  8. Going to be going to indiana soon, before my hiatus i made this.
    This is Itchyboy's pierce dash converted to a pierce saber hero, the rear is mine. as you can see i still have some things to do to the model like the ladder and the rear directional bar. (i also forgot to extend the cab back at the time.)

    This engine will be at 'county' station 11.

    thanks, lads. here's an image of the cab- itchyboy's mack GU713 i believe it is, with my... er... the trailer attachment point bit and the trailer obviously. the trailer is mainly done other than i might make the stripe curve down and back up in the middle. the UV is messed up in 3 minor places on the trailer, but i can't figure out how to fix it and the average person won't notice (especially with cam bounds set to default). the cab still needs ELS - which i probably will use Yankee43's fedsig navigator again. (haven't fully decided) and add a q to the bumper.

  10. Hello, apologies for my hiatus here. i am in the process of redoing station 99 (South Blainland) as i think the units looked like trash and some of them were not scaled properly. I made a engine using Itchyboy's International Terrastar cab and a rear made by me with a lot of help and teachings from Itchyboy. it also includes some small beacons from EmC-Unit's Light Pack, and Yankee43's 53" Federal Signal Navigator lightbar. The texture is not yet complete, and many improvements on the model can probably be done, but for now, here's where E99-2 stands. I am also in the process of (yet again) reworking the map as i am unhappy with it. I've also taken one of Itchyboy's Ambulances from his Ambulance Pack and kitted out with lights from his Emergency Light Equipment pack to match those of the ones local to me, and will hopefully not only use them in Logi Valley, but also Ormond Beach once i return to it.

    I'm working on a way to mitigate that, by adding fire lines and such. I hope to find a way to make fires spread slower.
