If you want to get more firefighters when you call the engine from the fire station you'll need to edit the script that is related to the firestation depends on the mod but for LA mod it's called "LAFireStation.script"

I don't know about the game hard limits but you can try using EM4 patcher, it might help if the crash is related to memory issues.

Would it be possible to make the mod playable with the actual game campaign?

An update a user on discord by the name of charlos suggested i use Em4 patcher , i fixed the crashing issue and other performance issues with this amazing software.

People need to stop asking this question, 90% of mods you'll see people saying dead mod but then the dev or others will say it's still being worked on until it become really dead i've seen this happen countless times.

Devs usually have too much ambition and want to release 1.0 and not 0.1 that's why most of them fail too much AMBITION.

open em4.cfg and search for "e4_gamma" what value is it?

It's a new install both the game and mod, i played it a while ago and it was fine maybe the new patch did something? Or probably AMD is wrecking old games again with their pathetic drivers.

Every time i use the parking script it crashes to the desktop with no error message.

You don't need to revert to 22.5.1 , the latest Radeon driver fixed the issue.

This workaround was confirmed actually almost a year ago, now with driver update 23.2.1 AMD fixed the issue.

Update 22.7.1 broke some OpenGL games including Emergency 4 go back to 22.5.1 or 22.6.1

Worse still there isn't any more community of this game, probably less than 500 people are still playing the game, it simply isn't worth it even if i could make a mod i still need manpower.

We need to accept this game is simply gone we can enjoy the good old mods and some "elites" can enjoy private mods, i don't see a future for emergency series.

Sorry for the late reply but AMD driver 22.7.1 broke OpenGL in some games go back to previous drivers and EM4 should work.

I played emergency 4 for years and can tell you there isn't many arabs playing the emergency series at all.

I'm from SA and generally in the ME people tend to play the more popular titles.

AMD or NVIDIA?

This happened to me when i updated to AMD latest driver 22.7.1 which is supposed to fix OpenGL performance but many users reported it actually breaking some games, one moment the game works fine the next moment (after updating) the game don't work properly also the shadows are broken on latest driver.

Another reason why this community died, half the mods are private.

It's not the final version, i have other projects going on i'll try to upload few screenshots then the final version later on.

4 times the upscaled textures using Gigapixel AI and compressed back to superior BC3.

Most of the textures are upscaled except for the fonts and UI because they don't work right.

I don't play the basegame but i always noticed some very low resolution textures even when playing mods so i wanted to upscale them.

Version 1.0: Updated textures and added screenshots, some textures can't be upscaled like floors of the maps because it's not accessible.
