you should consider doing like Detroit Michigan or even Chicago Illinois nobody's done those places yet!

Yea man hopefully I'll be done with finishing lighting on the fire trucks this weeks and then I will show a preview if I can get my video recorder to work

Hey guys sorry for no updates in a while but the mod should be pushed back a bit because Finn came up with a. Great idea of a new map and new type of approach just wait and watch !! o but other than that id say the mod is at like 45%complete

Just to re-iterate what JrFF34 said, he didn't mean the New Jersey State Police don't have that triangle logo on the door. What he meant was the one they use on the cars is actually very slightly different; the ones you have on them is the one they actually wear on their arms and uniforms. It's just a change of font and word size really, quite pedantic stuff you don't necessarily have to change, but just confirming what he meant.

 

If you look here, it's simpler on the cars than on the officers/banners etc:

thats all of the old vehicles if you look at the present day vehicles they are driving , the skin looks exactly like the banner, i know since i live in jersey been pulled over by them a few times lol, other then that i see what he meant but now its not simple lettering its more of whats on that banner

It need to be showing whatever your file name is called.

i will try it again and see what it does if not i cans end you the file of the mod and then you try and see if it works for you? i cans end you everything and you can also play it lol still wip

yes it does but i did that but still it won't change the vehicle because in the mod there is the sar vehicle and red cross one that also has the same vehicle but with more lights. i tried converting it to a ddd file but i crashed me out the editor

Did you change the texture name in the .v3o file for the model?

 

If not, open the .v3o file using notepad, and at the top you'll see something like this

 

SRF, Default Material, 0, 0, 0, tahoe_fire.dds, 517, 2, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0
SRF, Decals, 0, 0, 0, tahoe_fire_decals.dds, 517, 2, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0

 

Change the name of the texture file, to whatever your texture file is called.

its actually the tahoe ems file and i did it was all changed to png. and then it did nothing

Hey guys so as you all know I'm working on the new jersey mod which is a sub mod off of the boston mod 1.0 and I'm having trouble trying to put the tahoe skin that was created on the unit. i changed the image to png and replaced it and then when i went in to the game it was still same skin? 

Any ideas?? I'm stuck 

ok guys got a small update i've got River Falls Car1 for the FD it is a F250 model that i downloaded from the Revenna Submod page
