Well after being away for a few weeks, I have returned, I have some exciting things to share.

First: There will be a New Map/ Old with major changes which will contain the West Coast Canadian Mod 2.0!!!

Features:

            - New Map

            - New Units; Tahoes/Suburbans/Police Organizations such as IDENT/ IHIT/ Major Crimes/ Different Tow Trucks/ New Fire Trucks

            - Unique Accidents

            - Completely New and Improved Light system on Majority of Units.

Second: As the Poll has indicated alot of people are looking for an Upgrade for WCCM and a Major American city that has not been done yet. So I am pleased to announce the Creation of the Alaska State Modification. There is currently 3 of us working on this modification, which will contain a Snow covered map (partial) along with all the organizations associated with the State and we will be working on incorporating the vast wilderness in Alaska. If all goes well, Limited Water Supply.

Side Notes: There is no release dates for any of these items yet, but the patch would be the closet thing to being done. Please be aware that with EM5 coming out Im not putting alot of stock in the Alaska State mod with hopes that its first release will be on EM5 Next Gen    If there is a long wait for an English Version/ Major bugs impedding the creation of a mod on EM5 then I will try and focus on releasing it for EM4, but only time can tell I hope that this Latest Installment of WCCM 2.0 will be able to help you guys in the mean time.

Hoping they release the English version at the same time, im optimistic they will because of how much attention the game has gotten from the North American/ South and English EU community.

im hoping there will be a digital download option for buying the game and I hope its stable for windows 8.. although nothing really is stable on windows 8

I need some help in finding some snow covered objects, mainly trees for the original EM4 map as I would like to have a winter look to the Rockport mod. There are 3 models for snow covered trees in the Rockport objects section on the editor, but the files are missing from the folder. So I need some help as I have no idea where to find some. Any help will be great.

Also does anyone know how to get tire tracks on the streets?

Hey guys, doing another modification and looking for someone to do some lighting of the new Tahoe and suburban by itchyboy, best submissions win and will be entered into the mod with credit.

Models can be unmarked PD units to give you an idea of their use and one Tahoe with a light bar!

This Modification was not made on that map in the screenshot, I am currently looking at it but for now avoid using the map switcher prior to starting the game/mod and use the one provided.. if this is an issue with people with the deluxe package, ill see what I can do in terms of releasing a patch, if all else call them onto the map manually, just got back from vacation so I hope on making some progress with these bugs that have arisen.

That is a problem because the VO are meant for for original LA mod ambulances, I tried what you said cops but I would get a script error and the ambulances would park like in the image above. 

 

I've got EM4 deluxe, (I've now noticed it's going to be in V2) I opened the game and loaded the mod as usual but loaded the Deluxe Freeplay map. In the main fire station both ambulances are too close together so neither can leave the station.

The BCAS ambulances in the BCAS station won't respond when a ambulance is dispatched so I had to switch to manually dispatching all my units.

That is a known issue and will be fixed In a later patch, thanks for your support and feedback

A problem I've noticed, think it's only on the deluxe map, is that the two ambulances parked in the bay are inside each other so neither can move

Good work on the mod and i like the old maps. The only issue i have is with the lights most of the units are good but some need alot of tweaking. Its pretty easy to fix this in the editor but i just dont have the time for that right now.

Yes I do realize some of the units lights are outdated or just to big like the ambulance and Tahoe lighting this is something that will be adjusted in a later version thanks for the feedback

Indeed. However, the only thing the map lacks is more buildings that better represent LA or at least the US. The map still contains many of the original EM4 buildings which are -unfortunately- more Europian looking. When I build the map back then (been a while now) I just didn't have that much time to build structures myself, so there's only a couple of new buildings, such as those apartments, the carwash, stripmall and pawn shop.

I've been to LA myself last year (f*ck yeah, finally, long flight though) and I'm fully aware the map can depict real LA much better, even if the map layout remains totally fictional (kinda like GTA V). However, I had to make decisions back then, so I could at least release a map within a fair amount of time that would look more American than the original freeplay maps. I think I made the right choice back then.

I am hoping someone can answer this for me, Im looking to add snow to the LA map, is the texture for it released? and is there someone else who has added snow to the map and would like to release it to me or knows where I can track one down?

Awesome mod, thanks for putting a download link on, but for what you need that key? I downloaded + installed + played it and nowhere I saw something key related.

Don't worry about the Key, that was for accessing the download via mega you don't need it because the link I have given everyone already has it attached.

With the link provided you shouldnt have to, I just added the key again separately in case people asked for it, but you just need to click on the link and the key is already attached to the url so no hassle.

Hm, weird. When I try to check on warrants by that button with question mark, it's not possible to ask any person. I can only use that on cars. Any advice? 

I would start by selecting the command and hovering over people say at the rock concert or the other stationary civ's in the game, I just checked this before releasing so that might be your only issue, very rarely do the patrolling civs have this ability

How is the modification running for you? laggy? long load time?

Just a recommendation....don't bundle my car pack into your mod. It adds way too much additional space. It should be up to the users whether or not they wish to use my mod.

Just include all of your necessary mod files.

I added the car pack because this modification isnt very big to  begin with im running this on a laptop worth 500$ people shouldnt have to many issues with the load/wait time, thanks for your hard work if alot of people are having issues ill change back to original.

How is the mod running for you?
