I  load up the mod strait away   ( esp if it doesn't work hopping mod to mod ) I'll go back to desktop and restart the game

the trucks aren't supposed to have anyone inside them. you have to you the volunteer script to call the firefighters out. and i had the grayed out buttons happen to me in the London mod. it works if you just re-install the entire mod itself.

Because it steps up the realism by A LOT.

Sorry to bother so much about my non working mod/pc... But I just cant accept that I cant play this awesome awaited mod while I can play every other mod very well. Is there anything I could change in the mod files to make the mod "improve" (stop crashing). Anything at all could help. I will download razor game booster soon and will check if it helps.

Either this mod has something different that the other mods don't or its just too awesome for my pc. (I say this in a good way xD)

There's not going to be anything you can do except get a new PC. If you've already set it to lowest, plus your PC specs are not hot.

^he's right. its always the infamous Intel HD. I'll give you my PC specs to kinda give you an idea of what you need.

PC Specs:

Well it is possible to upgrade my laptops graphics card correct? Ive never done this, if done correctly my laptop wouldnt break right?

 

Also if anyone knows about this, what is a cheap graphic card recommended that can handle the mod? I put my specs earlier in a post

It is impossible to change an INTEGRATED graphics card. Hence the name integrated.

you may just have to RE-Download the mod itself...

just a stupid suggestion about the patch and the modinstaller... are you guys running the modinstaller as an admin ?

Because if I don't use it as an admin it doesn't work 

It isn't the mod installer itself. It is the actual file. When you try to install it, the mod installer only tells you that it is a corrupt mod file.   

Any update on the patch?

that's not really 100% correct, I made an unofficial patch

 

 

 

 

but from the modding team self there is no patch yet

I don't know if anyone has told you this but ALS 25 (I think) has no lights.

This mod is looking real nice. Is the volunteer script gonna be included?

I don't know if anyone has told you this, but the police unit, (not the traffic unit) it goes on patrol with the traffic unit, it has no wheels...

So as I'm editing the mod myself and fixing the missing wheels and texturing the doors on vehicles...I located the problem with this bit of traffic. Its caused by the taxi...it can't be towed away and its the only part causing the traffic jam. I am looking into it quite deeper.

 

Have you tried renaming it civcar01? 

I got a CTD when I pressed the button to call in the sheriff off map unit. Also, the police supervisor has no wheels. 

Couldn't agree more.. Just remember these guys (as with all modders) are doing this for nothing, in their own time so people like me and you can have a great new experience when playing EM4, they don't owe us anything.. I think we need to remember this when people start getting a little demanding!!.. It's Christmas everyone.. It's not going to kill anyone if the mod doesn't come out today or tomorrow.. However, it will come out eventually.. Bama, Itchboy and anyone else involved with this fantastic mod, go and enjoy Christmas with your family and friends, we will all still be here..

Thank the Lord I finally went to sleep last night. Any updates?

To all concerned:

I've made the personal decision to skip out on a family lunch today just so I can get the mod out to you guys.

I am running on Philippine Standard Time. Its around quarter to 12 noon here. For most of you Americans, its really late at night right now and for pretty much all of Europe, it is around dawn here so this is gonna be a Christmas gift to you all when the morning comes.

I am right now in the process of merging our two copies of the mod, his reworked units and my reworked working scripts. After this, I will test gameplay and squash as many bugs as I can find.

Itchboy, don't take time out of visiting your family to give us the mod! Family comes first!

So here's where we stand. Itchboy's copy is working OK, while mine isn't. I sent him updated files and he's going to get everything together and working properly. 

 

He may be the one posting the link if I'm asleep by then, but either way, we're looking at 2-3 more hours at least. 

 

We could release now but the paramedic system is still broken and I don't think anyone wants to play freeplay without being able to treat anyone / send them to the hospital 

Well, that sucks. I am gonna be asleep.

So imma need 3 monster energy drinks to stay up 'till 11 PM. Playing West Coast Canadian mod to past time.
