  1. Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions kaligus.

It's pretty cool you get to play the off-duty park of life as well, but I personally think it wouldn't be a smart idea to let the game be 50% on-duty and 50% off-duty, simply because people play the game to be cop =)

What can we expect on the graphics side of the game? Obviously it isn't going to be anything fancy like GTA. But what can we compare it to? Will it be along the lines of the german released 'Polizei' (see below)?

How much people will be working on this project? Will it have the studio's full attention?

  2. Hi Kaligus. I have two quick questions for you. But before I ask, I must say I was very excited when I read someone was attempting to fully develop a game like this! I like(d) LCPD:FR, but I'm bored of it, simply because the calls are always the same.

So obviously, my first question is: How do you plan to keep this game interesting? Is there a huge amount of different calls?

Lastly, imagine you release this game and it's quite a succes. You sell a lot of copies. Will you stop development on this game and start a sequel, or will you continue to work on this game?

    Thanks in advance!

  3. Please stop asking for the price people. They just started the project. They have no idea yet how much costs they're going to have at the end. Just let them make the game. I'm sure that when development hits the final stage they will post an estimate of monthly/quarterly/yearly pricing and you'll have enough time to lay some money aside.

  4. Yes, I have that a lot too. Also after changing into their firefighter gear at the station. You just have to click multiple times or reselect and it'll work.

I've also found that 1 spot where they change clothes is bugged. If a firefighter changes into his gear there, you can't move him.

  5. From the info you're giving me it sounds like it's not compatible with 911:FR, only with Emergency 4.

Brandweer_Rilland, the installer is an .exe file. Which makes it quite a dangerous file to execute if you don't know what it is. However, since this is a mod for a game which you can trust, you can just install it.

focuz, if you have EM4 Deluxe installed you should choose the Deluxe version in the installer as well, otherwise it might not work properly.

  6. That sounds like an unlikely fanboy rumor if I've ever heard one.

    Googled a bit, found this.

The main subject of GTA 5 will be familiar to fans of the Grand Theft Auto series, as it once again finds the main character challenged by a crisis of conscience. The key difference, however, is that this main character actually begins the story as a good guy, whereas every GTA game prior provides a main actor who comes from the underbelly of society. GTA 5 places you in the shoes of a recently graduated police officer named either Rock or Brock (subject to change by Rockstar). You begin the Grand Theft Auto V as a workaday cop roaming the streets with your partner, chasing bad guys, giving tickets, police stuff. The game progresses through different modes as you climb (or fall) the ladder to SWAT training and duty, helicopter training and duty, the menial tasks of traffic duty hell, and ultimately Vice Detective duty. These levels gradually increase in difficulty as you progress in the game.

How much of this is true, is yours personally to judge.

I would not be surprised if they introduce some small detective work, since LA Noire was quite a success.

  7. In a few weeks we will release a ne Version - Version 4.

This Release contains a Multiplayer-Modus with a nearly realistic radio-traffic.

Hope you will forgive me my Decision and download the new version - if released.
