  1. I love how the blame gets shuffled around, I strongly urge you to remove the links, do NOT support THAT version which you just released since let's be honest here, it never should have been in the first place.... Take the time, sort out all the clearly visible issues that you can, extensively have it tested by proper beta testers and then worry about releasing, people can wait or they can go whine somewhere else. Do it right, then worry about releasing.

    I agree 100%

  2. It's nice of you to help out. Just make sure you have high enough bandwidth. The downloads of the previous versions were in the thousands, 2.1 is expected to have more. Just be prepared if you are willing to get involved.

well i plan on using mainly third party hosting and also hosting it as a torrent.

  3. I have a mission idea it, is actually a mission from the em3 la mod but it may work in the ny submod. There could be a murder and the police will have to question people around the area to try to find the suspects. When they find them it can turn into a hostage situation to where the people will have to be rescued and the suspect will be arrested. Just a thought.

  4. haha I doubt it but thanks :) and thanks for the support to all the people who don't post but do follow the forum :D

First off let me say again how great of a job you and yoyr team are doing, I can agree and disagree with the choice to wait. I alpha and beta test software as a job and I can say the test release to a small group is good because it give you a chance to find alot of the major bugs that people will complain about. However a general release will let you see what the people really want of the mod. I'll be the first to admit that yeah they will still complain but some of the comnplaint's can be usueful when it come to patching and updating, it give you a chance to really fine tune things to the user's liking. I will end with this either way it's your mod and I'm sure it will be great. Keep up the good work.

  5. Not necessarily - tested under certain circumstances, and general playing, you can find as many bugs as a large group. There's always bugs regardless of how many people or how long a piece of software is tested for, look at Windows for example.

I agree no matter how long you test software and how many people test it there will still be bugs and there will even be bug once it's released. I know everyone would love for there to be a beta released for everyone to play but that's on Dyson on how he wants to do it.
