  1. I believe and I hope site Admin doesn't beat me up over this, if a person does not respond to a request made about a mod they made for at lease 30 days, site Admin could reassign and or grant other users permission to use their mod to anyone who is willing to take it over/improve. I've noticed that a lot of people start mods and never finish them, this will also be a way sit Admin could free up the clutter that is on this site. Site Admin could name it the Mod Abandonment clause or something to that effect. Just my two cents.

  2. I was thinking that Dyson should release a beta version so that the community can test it out. Them more testers you have, the more bugs that could be found. A smaller group of tester will only take longer to found all of the bugs. Strength in numbers, just my two cents.

  3. The Siren doesn't work on the detective cars.

The Swat guy calls for back up after you have deployed the sniper rifle and is trying to move him back to the Swat truck.

The game crashed when multiple events were happening, and speaking of events, it takes forever for them to happen, what's up with that?

    Other than that, it's great!

  4. I think the CAD idea would be the greatest, you would have a list of maybe five to ten calls waiting/holding in addition to the incoming calls. You would be constantly busy going from call to call. Lets face it, there is not much else you can do to this game beside adding more units and a few more commands. With the CAD function, you could have delayed assualts, missing kids/adults, minor auto accidents, retail thefts, if these are possible to add that is to the map/game that is.

  5. Well actually thats the thing, i dont want to have to crank it up to hear it. The rest of the game is at a comfortable listening level so i dont want to blast it just to be able to hear the dispatch.

And that's the thing about upping the levels, it you raise the audio for one part, dispatching, people are going to turn it down and then they can't hear the rest of the game. A happy medium needs to be found that's all.

  6. Last time I checked the radios had a volume knob/button/wheel/something, to turn the volume up, or down, so I dont see the harm in increasing the volume on this. Plus this is a game still, and some of us dont hear so well since we busted an ear drum off the high dive at the local swimming pool.

Well turn up "your" knob/button/wheel/something on "your" computer.

  7. I was wondering if there was a way to change the "GetIn" script to have the officer get in the driverside instead of the passenger. I have also noticed that when you have a car with two officers, both door open when they get out to stop a suspect. Can this be done and why would a German company who get in their cars on the driverside like most of the world, put it the other way around in their game. In the script is say "Target=Passengerside Door" something like that.

  8. If it is a traffic related incident, the highway patrol is mostly called to handle those and this will free up your patrol officers. The highway patrol are regulatory law enforcement officers, their focus is on traffic and highway safety. Local police and sheriff's are "full service" law enforcement agencies, they handle it all, but if you have an agency who's mission is the handle traffic, why not call them to take care of the traffic situations and let your city/county guys chase down the bad guys. When the 911 calls come in, they send police officers or sheriff's deputies, they do not send a highway patrol officer to respond unless there are no other law enforcement officers around. In my area, the local agencies will "refer" a lot of traffic calls to the Florida Highway Patrol, so they can continue their patrol duties answering domestics and other crimes. This is just a game, so you are probably right.

You mean like it'll call in a CHP unit or you can call LAPd or like LASD, like special call tabs?

I'm sure that's possible but I don't see how it would serve much point, if you know what I mean... Why call CHP from the highway when there is a LAPD car by the mcdonalds around the corner?

  9. I was wondering if there was a way to have about ten to fifthteen calls police or medical holding when a patrol car or ambulance is brought into the game. The player could click on the call they want to answer then go to the location and the victim will give them the description of the bad guy and the little lighting bolt will appear on the screen, then you go and arrest them or the patient will appear. While you have these calls holding, you will also have the regular freeplay calls coming in for dispatch. This would really make the game more challenging and not so dull at times. Just was wondering if it could be done.

  10. I would be great if there was a way to "stack calls" or hold calls. When an officer comes on shift, there could be like 20 or so calls holding from the previous shift. The player would click on whichever call they wanted to answer at that time, example, you have a lady that was robbed, the officer shows up at the location and there she is standing there, you click the conversation button and she gives you a description of the suspect, the little lightening bolt pops up on the screen and you go and arrest them. Also, while you are working on the holding calls, you still have current calls coming in. Now that would be great!

  11. Great game! What can be done about the fires, it seems like if a building is on fire, all of the buildings around it will be on fire within a few minutes, cars are blowing up, etc. You have fire jumping arcoss streets to other buildings like crazy, but other than that and the traffic, by the way I place traffic cones on the major roads where all of the traffic spawns from. This will help a lot also and this will free up officers.
