    UPDATES:

I would like to apologize to everyone that was looking forward to a dc mod and i changed to the "Paradise city Mod" and then that went down the drain but the DC mod is back for sure.....Ive been very busy the past couple of months as i am going through the beginning stages of training in my fire department and i will try to work through it so updates may have large gaps between them.

  4. it snowed overnight here, <1 inch, but it rained for about an hour from 0700 to 0800, its supposed to start raining again anytime now, then continue thourgh midnight-ish, and up to 9 inches of snow on top of the ice from the rain.. *claps hands* YAY!!!! :P lmao... and good luck staying warm and dry bsbllthirteen.. and keep the greasy side down :)

it nice and warm her at the station all of us volunteers are playing some madden and Call of Duty waiting for the next call

  5. well here in lower new york we have some bit of snow(about 5 inches) and now a little freezing rain....i woke up and turned my pager to the county feed and in 30 minutes there were 17 accidents including 2 in my district

    1) one car into a guard rail on the highway beacon rescue 33-55, glenham rescue engine 42-12, beacon volunteer ambulance 82-72 and trans-care fly car 302 responded. One entrapment. victim sent ALS to hospital.

    2) 2 car accident in an intersection. Beacon rescue 33-55, Beacon engine 33-11, Beacon volunteer ambulance 82-73 and trans-care fly car 302 responded. Victims were evaluated and deemed ok and stable.

  6. For my department it all varies on how many guys are at each station (since we are a career and volunteer department)

This is what we normally do

Fire alarm- closest engine and tower 45

report of kitchen fire-closest engine and tower 45 and rescue 55 on 2nd alarms

Structure fire- both engines tower 45 and possibly outside departments rigs and rescue 55 on 2nd alarms

    brush fire- one engine

medical(not life threatening)- one engine and maybe tower 45 and ambo

medical(life threatening)- engine and tower 45 and ambo and fly car

car accident-rescue 55 and engine 11(maybe 12 depending how many people are in the station because engine 11 and engine 12(with rescue55) j are housed separately

  7. Ok today we had an elevator rescue drill right across from station 2 after the drill every rig, 3 rigs, went to station 2 for lunch......about 1 hour later a call came in for an automatic fire alarm in the station 1 area, or on the other side of town, so we all got in our rigs and raced across town to find out it was nothing and boy did that suck.

  8. this is in real life btw

a 4 car crash on a bridge we responded in about 3 min from alarm to scene. Rescue 33-55 and engine 33-11 responded ( i was on the rescue)and there was 2 extractions and 4 injuries. it was late too about 10 pm. it took about 30 min from arrival to going back in service.
