  2. ok, I haven't gotten back to my home pc yet but as soon as i do ill post on here with the verdict.

  4. thats exactly what im talking about, just a regular car chase where the suspect car doesn't sit at a red light and blow all the cars around it up, that gets kinda old sometimes. I've had them not have guns/surrender w/o incident when they got out of the car, but the car itself has the rifle, but if its near impossible to get rid of it then i guess ill have to deal with putting out multiple car fires along with getting the car thief.
  5. I don't know if its been asked before, but is there a way to have a "stolen car event/police chase" without the suspect car having a gun? Is it possible to have both and make so sometimes they have a gun and sometimes dont?
  6. or you could just make it to where you have FF's already in SCBA on the USAR, that'd be the easy way.
  7. my sirens work sometimes and dont work other times, mainly on the police cars. but sometimes its on everything, im using LA MOD with Shane's submod. I've learned to deal with it but if theres a fix that would be awesome.
  8. Do you think it'll be possible to make the HH-65 into a medevac without "too much" scripting? Because if so I wanna attempt it but I'm not that good at the whole scripting thing, I can do the small stuff but when it comes down to it I pretty much suck.
  9. if i knew how to script i'd do it. but i only know how to model and skin, i know very little when it comes to scripting, i can make minor changes but this would need a whole new script and i don't think i can work that out. but if one of the amazing scripters on here would do it that'd be a great addiction to the game and it'd add a little more realism.
  10. i know that already but its easier to call them out with the BC because then you don't have to keep staffing them yourself bc alot of times there is no time to staff all the apparatus, and when the chief or supervisor calls them out they staff automatically.
  11. Just having more units on a call script would be better, instead of calling them out 1by1 you could call out, for example "BLS Engine, Tower Light Force, USAR, and BLS Medic" on one button, and "ALS Engine, Tiller, HES, ALS Medic" on another. That would save alot of time, and be more realistic. But keep the script how it is so you can send them where you want on the map still. And thats only 2 more buttons so you could keep the ones that are already there so you can still call units out 1by1 for additional units/other calls. If thats possible that would make the game so much better than it already is.
  12. It will not be realease for EM3, I don't think I even have EM3 anymore, EM4 is 10x better.
  13. Well im not really going for accuracy bc i don't think pierce makes one that looks like that, but that are out there. I'm just going by what I think might look good.
  14. I'm alright at it, it's a really easy program to use. But I can use some pointers and I'll try yours, thanks for the advice.
  15. I have 2 also, the first one I made was an 88 Hahn, and now this one. I don't plan on doing anything with the Hahn though, that was just for fun. But I use the LA Mod and I'm not a big fan of the tanker in there so I thought I'd attempt to make my own.
  16. I'm attempting to make a Pierce Tanker/Pumper. Being a Pierce guy I wanted to make a Pierce and I thought I'd make a tanker pumper even though I run with a Pierce engine and never saw a Pierce Tanker/Pumper personally, I thought it'd be a cool idea. I might need some help down the road, scaling, texturing, converting, scripting, and getting into the game, so if anybody is interested, PLEASE PM ME!(but don't ask to use in "your mod" bc I wanna get it ingame before I even think of releasing it.) PS: Positive and negative feedback is acceptable, just let me know what ya's think.

  18. You should definitely show that off, that sounds pretty neat. But I did some E.R.T(Emergency Response Team) Training with out local "Drug Task Force" and thats what gave me the idea for a Tact. Medic bus bc they use an old ambulance as their response vehicle. And my version looks better on a hostage situation rather than the LAFD bus, bc mine fits in with the cop cars and all.
  19. Thats why the description of the topic is "fictional swat medic ambulance". And I can do modeling I just dont know if I wanna take this that far for a sub mod, Im satisfied with the ambulance bc I thought the LAX ambulance was pointless. Atleast I can call this one in with a hostage situation but I never used the LAX.
  20. I reskinned the LAX Ambulance and made it an LAPD Tactical Medic Ambulance, I was wondering if someone could make SWAT Medics(SWAT Team that is able to get stretcher). Anyway here are some pics of the Tactical Medic Ambulance. Also while browsing I found this and thought it'd be a funny mod, I can paint it but I didn't master adding lights yet so if someone wants to make it let me know and I'll skin it if they add the lights.
  21. I know it's on here and I've been seaching for like a 1/2hr now, I don't think I'm using the right keywords though. So how do you change the time between events in freeplay bc in 1.9 they're way too fast and I keep failing them bc I'm working too many missions at once. I've changed it in 1.8 but I forget how bc it was a one time deal.

Just a suggestion. you should see if the fdny guys wanna use this in there mod as a unit that you can call in or something like that so they dont have to build a station for it or anything. just a unit that comes from the edge of the map. keep in mind this is just a suggestion. ps: I think it looks really good.
  24. I might be able to do 1-2 models for you but like I said before I dont have time for a full fledge mod right now.
