  1. I speak to Scott too much, probably get annoying but from talking to him and seeing what he does on Steam he really doesn't give up. He barely plays games, barely spends time away from doing SOMETHING with the mod. He deserved all the credit he gets.
  2. I live in two places (impressive isn't it) Monmouth - Gwent Police has any vehicle it can grab South Wales Fire - MAN rescue tender, Scania water tender (http://www.southwales-fire.gov.uk/English/operationalresponse/ourequipment/Pages/WaterTenderLadder2_vehicle.aspx) and mercades 4x4 Welsh Ambulance Service have anything they can grab again, but seeing as the ambulance station is closed because its unsafe, they usually come from the depot 20 miles away. RAF/MOD have a Sea King and a few typhoons and rescue aircraft dedicated to this area I believe. Whitchurch Police - West Mercia Police (1 Vauxhall Zafria usually hangs around but any vehicles comes in and out) Fire - Fire station has 1 4x4 (keeps changing) and a SCANIA or Dennis appliance Ambulance is covered by Ross & Hereford ambulance stations, West Midlands Ambulance Service Water is covered by Royal Air Force rescue teams and the water rescue teams from Ross and Hereford fire stations
  3. That's one of the things I notice when I speak to Scott, he always has a plan about what he is going to do. If he considered it a high priority to add these return scripts then I'm sure he would have. I doubt it'll be too long before the next release, and then I'm sure he'll have added vital things
  4. Give him chance guys, I think he's done extremely well for just a year of work.
  5. Even though I knew this was coming out today, it still comes as a shock that you've worked so hard over the past year and managed to complete it in such a good time. I congratulate you on making something that looks pretty damn amazing, and improving on your model quality and such so much - you are a professional now! Well done mate :-)
  6. I'm on Windows 8.1 like others, it isn't too bad and I much prefer it to Win 7. It's definately a good idea to wait before you upgrade though, Scott, as it might break a lot of features for you including EM4 possibly.
  7. Mod in progress again because I don't want to see it die. After being denied the chance to use Welfordshire vehicles (which was fine, and was a valid deny reason) I have been looking into vehicles I could use. I've come to the conclusion that I don't really want to continue the mod but for the sake of "fans" and because I want to see it work, I'll continue it until V1 is released. Full information AND Staff needed information on front page. Don't comment if you want to help out as it breaks ToS. Regards
  8. As far as I'm aware Scott is currently on holiday for two weeks somewhere without wifi (I believe this was mentioned on another page here). From what I've heard from the man himself the mod will be heavily worked on whilst he's away. He's looking for an initial release soon after he comes back and once the mod is good enough to release - don't expect a release straight away though. Sorry to speak on his behalf but I don't want people to ask if this is dead, or claim to to others that it is dead.
  9. Lovely lifeboat. Random person, there's often highways England vehicles patrolling Wales, especially on the main roads. However, go beyond Newport then there's not one anywhere, just a hell tonne of police cars. Highways England are running some major roadworks outside town on the road to England, however the road they are maintaining is considered to be in Wales. Anyway Scott, love the light boat. I'd give it 10/10!
  10. Yes haven't done much after denied the opportunity to use welfordshire vehicles.
  11. No updates to post as busy with GSCE's. However, the mod is still in progress.
  12. Mod update: Some units have been completed and we're stabilizing it within 911: First Responders and Emergency 4. We're still recruiting. See post above. (Excuse the double post - on mobile)
  13. Work has now restarted. Anyone interested in helping would be gratefully accepted. Please PM. Payment can be given if needed, we just need staff. Modelling Scripting Lighting Apply within
  14. It's with great regret that the mod will now be put ON HOLD. Not for long, just enough time for me to find something else to work off.
  15. Update: Saint John ambulance vehicles - Complete South Central ambulance service - In Prog Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue - In Prog Oxfordshire Council - Completed Oxfordshire ambulance (private) - Completed Scripting - In Prog Model editing - In Prog
  16. (Sorry to double post, mobile doesn't allow editing so I'll edit later) I should clarify that the reply to 999madtom's question about Oxford Ambulance is false information. RRP is something totally different to RRV, RRV is what I intended to say. Oxfordshire ambulance service is a charitable firm much like air ambulances, they are front line and will respond to many localised calls, there will still be SCAS rapid response vehicles but the Oxford Ambulance Service will be more advanced with medical equipment galore and some specialist trucks for off road Thames Valley police will also have a Swift Water Rescue unit, SWR, they will assist SCAS and Oxford Ambulance for water rescues.
  17. That's probably where you've seen it then. Still awaiting permission from Welfordshire mod staff to release this as a sub-mod. Progress is ongoing but slower due to staff levels dropping.
  18. Oxfordshire is intended as a local private firm which supplies RRP vehicles, South Central will cover as main ambulances .
  19. PM our facebook page 'oxfordshire modification - emergency 4' thanks Tom
  20. The photos posted here are NOT pictures of the soon to be downloadable mod - these are from a denied submod that I created. We're working on it, any pictures will be posted within the comments. Thanks for visiting. OXFORDSHIRE MODIFICATION WE NEED: Modellers & someone to work on making sirens. Apply by PMing me. Here are some screenshots of the progress already completed. Please leave feedback, suggestions and ideas and we will get back to you swiftly. Thanks, Tom.
  21. PM me please. I'll explain why there. Very nice by the way.
  22. Sorry, I was not supposed to quote your post and my cold hearted comments were towards Marc and not you. I have no reason to dig at you.
