i did uninstall it, i did run cc cleaner registry cleaner. i did install it again and it still doesnt work. I really want to play again, this sucks.

do you delete the whole emergency 4 deluxe folder after uninstalling game?

Since i installed the last LA Mod i cant start Emergency 4 Deluxe anymore. After the intro movie's it will jump back to my desktop. I already tried to Repair and Uninstall EM4.

try this:

1) uninstall emergency 4

2) if there are any remaining folders or files in emergency 4 folder delete them manually

3) now you have to clean registry with the ccleaner or anything like that...

4) install emergency 4

5) try it now

i checked logfile and there is also problem with winterberg mod...

I will not lock it since it can be useful for topic search and can be used to post more related problems.

Just because its modeled on there doesnt mean you add the command and your good to go in this case. I have tried adding the redirect command to both the cab and the trailer with no luck.

I would love to know where you got 25 seconds. Unless your running a Core i9 and SSDs on SATA III ports with a hardware RAID card. I have one of the fastest, if not the fastest pc on the forum (Core i7 860,4GB RAM,ATI 4890,2x80 GB Intel SSDs G2 in RAID 0- Software) and it takes just under a minute to load the stock LA Mod.

I have 4GB ram, intel core i5 cpu 750, ATI HD 5770 and 1TB harddisk so the emergency 4 starts in a few seconds

PS: sometimes it gets 50 secs, sometimes 30... I don't count it accurate. I have the very good computer, but your is better...

The cars look great, but there is a slight flaw, on the passenger side of LAPD car you have POLICE backwards like you were looking in the mirror.

It's normal for it to freeze when loading the mod. It could take 10 minutes to load, so click on Load and wait. The mod should load.

New Computer (Best quality):

Los angeles mod = 25 secs

Winterberg mod = cca 4 minutes

Old Computer (Average quality):

Los Angeles mod = cca 5 minutes

Winterberg mod = cca 22 minutes

So as you see, it can take 22 minutes, if you have a average computer. But yes, if is mod loading it freeze for a while

the mod is fine as it is. if you want anything changed start a private submod topic like i do. im make submods, still waiting for permission. but i'm not crying to let hoppah do the work. i try it my own. that's what most part of your live is about you dont get manager of a big company letting other people doing the work, you need to do it your own. besides it always nice to do some scripting experience (atleast for me it is).

LA Mod V2.0 is downloadable in the download center, just do one click more instead of letting people copy and paste the link.

The reskinning persons is same as the reskinning vehicles but texture of person must be converted to .jpg (not png!!!). Reskinning persons is a bit harder than vehicle reskinning because there is a little mishmash .

If you don't know how to reskin vehicles, just go there

Slicktop CHP Cv need the model edit and I don't know nothing about models... I can do lights in the mirrors for all FCV police cars if you want... it's not problem...

hey people, you can speak me what car reskin you want to do and i can try it but i'm doing only: reskins, editing basic scripts (siren scripts, increase/decrease weapon effects), getting cars to game, editing lights & basic + advanced editor things... Next: adding language files, editing UI, things in units & specs folder... I know how to unlock models and a lot of new things. But i don't know these 2 things - models, adding cars to game...

there is only one way - do a new one with this theme. But I don't have next ideas...

PS: in EM4 LA mod are two missions from EM3 La mod and that is "protect the president" but now is named "VIP Escort". And second is "Police chase ends in tragedy". Maybe is there more missions...

why you want la mod 1.6? is there any submod what supports only this version?
