  1. Thank you for providing the video link. All of our models will have its light packages based on its real life counter-parts, and I'm fimilar with most BC agencies lights, including NWPD. I had already outfitted a light job for it, but with standard hide-a-way strobes. In the video it's LED so I will make that changes. But yes, I will leave the TA to special command activation for this unit. And lastly, it will come with the code 3 mastercom B siren that you hear in the video.

Awesome! That is what I was hoping and I knew you guys must've had it covered.

  2. Don't forget gentlemen, there is a option to shut the lights off. Besides a first alarm typically is 1-2 e possibly a quint or tower and a rescue. You don't need to have that in game. For most house fires I can have 1 engine and a ladder no problem.

Here in Burnaby we dispatch around 3 engines, rescue, and command. For any 1st alarm report of building fire. For general alarms ringing it's usually 2-3 engines.

  3. Yeah there's not really a way to do it without it being really complicated. We found that your style of siren was extremely annoying so we did our own lol

Alright, might I suggest in 3.0.0 you allow automatic sirens? Like I said, micromanaging is a pain especially when you have 2 calls at once!

Thank you. And I LOVE the mod by the way, the lights are so realistic and amazing.

  4. Awesome mod!

Just one problem ONLY I have with this mod... It's micromanaging...

In the old version, if you click anywhere on the map, sirens and lights automatically turn on and go for you. Now, in 2.0.0, I'm forced to micromanage every unit that is responding and turn on sirens for every unit individually. It's VERRYYYY annoying and I HATE to micromanaga ESPECIALLY on this game where so much is going on! Also I see you guys removed the NYPD ambient real sounding sirens (from youtube videos), I like those ones, it sounded so realistic.

Please fix this, until then I think I'm going to play 1.0.0, unless there is a way to fix this quickly without a full release? Maybe I could transfer some files from 1.0.0 over here? Is there a way to do that?

Other than that, I'm amazed at the lighting on these vehicles, incredible!

  5. 1. What is wrong with teenagers? They can have good ideas, and some of them are more smart than some adults. 2. I actualy want it straight to the point, Just say no or say yes. It is clear and I am done here. I am no more 'Crying' to do it...

    Antia

Guys, stop, you're both being ridiculous. Antia, you're finished okay? He doesn't want your services so just stop posting and getting into arguments for nothing. Obviously he said ONE of those teenagers, not A teenager (saying all of them are stupid). If you have nothing productive to say, don't say it, both of you, anyone, it's annoying. Just post positive things about the mod, or some criticism (I'm sure it's welcome and appreciated within reason).

Awesome job on the Fire trucks. Is there a full list of everything that is planned to be released?

    Like:

    POLICE:

Burnaby RCMP Slicktop *MARKED* (Ford Crown Victoria)

Surrey RCMP General Duty *MARKED* (Ford Crown Victoria)

    BCAS:

    Chevrolet Demers

    Fire/Rescue:

    VFRS Engine 8

    Burnaby FD Engine 5

ETC, ETC... Obviously there is WAY more units than what I posted, but maybe a list should be made on the first page to demonstrate the sheer amount of stuff into this mod!

  6. Yeah, each of the emergency services branch apparatuses will have a variety of sirens for you to respond with. Some of the fire service trucks will either have a : EQ2B, FS PA series, Q2B, or Whelen Dual Sirens ( only for Vancouver Fire Rescue, Heavy Rescue and other special fictional units.) The Police Services will come with a FS Smart Siren, Code 3 Mastercom B, and Whelen Cencom. The BCAS ( EMS) will come with Carson and Tomar sirens.

All of the tones have been doctored in Audacity to sound as real as possible with environment effects applied. We have not made a preview of the said sirens for you guys to listen to, but we hope to in the near future. They are none like others as far as i know. The tones are a game changer.

Will Vancouver Police have the Tomar Siren? They use that, not any of the sirens you mentioned in the police section :/. BCAS Supervisors also use the Tomar 940.

  7. Question: I know you guys plan to give each Police Service their own real to life siren. Will you give each Fire Department their own realistic siren? For example, Burnaby (where I live) rarely uses electronic sirens, they almost always use a good old Q siren. Vancouver FRS uses Electronic sirens ONLY. Will each emergency service have their own siren? How will this work?

  8. *sorry for the double post but it won't let me add pictures to an old post*

Here's the new Burnaby Fire Department Engine 5

    dkfhsadghadkghk, MOTHER OF GOD... AMAZING.

Sorry, had a seizure from all of the awesomeness. That's incredible, just like the real thing. The only thing I'd change is the two rotators in the rear. The real ones are a little more boxy.

Here's some of my photos of Engine 5. And I'll show you one of the rear lights, they seem too tall and round to me.

Sorry for the distancing, best photos I could've taken. I'll try to find one of my youtube vids...

    (Not my video)

They do in fact light up like LED's, however I think LADDER 4 has halogen rotators. Not 100% sure, but there they are. Maybe I'm just being a perfectionist but that's amazing, honestly.

  9. I think you forgot the video LOL,I had NWPS lights exact as I did find a few good pictures of that one. Here is what I based mine on...nwps2.jpg

That's awkward, should be in the original post now, LOL. Some of them have strobes, some LED's. But PMPD uses strobes inside the grill, along with intersection clearers that alternate between red/blue (each individual LED).

Also, based on personal encounters and videos, I've figured out what dept. uses what siren... At least I think so:

RCMP: Whelen CenCom Gold, Federal Signal Smart Siren 2000, Federal Signal PA300 (rare), General Electronics Intimidator (O.P.P Siren) *rare*

Vancouver Police: Old Whelens (rare), Tomar 940

West Vancouver Police: Unknown, most likely a Code 3 Mastercom

New Westminster Police: Code 3 Mastercom

Port Moody Police: This has really evaded me, there are no videos of a PMPD car code 3, and I've never heard their siren. I've only seen the picture on their website of an in car picture... See here and decide, my best guess is a Federal Signal Touchmaster Delta http://portmoodypolice.ca/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=18&Itemid=30

Delta Police: Unsure... Sorry don't visit Delta much.

Transit Police: Definately a Federal Signal Smart Siren, got a tour of their HQ and went in the car for a small 30 minute drive around New West.

Abbotsford Police: Code 3 Mastercom, Federal Signal Smart Sirens (Code 3 Mastercoms are much more common).
