I quite like this idea! It brings a sense of competition to the forums. I think you should vary it in some ways though, to maximize the income of people who play along. Maybe like Personnel, or vehicle vinyls.

The Cab is used for transport of large loads sometimes, as well as road safety campaigns. In Yorkshire, they use an unmarked cab to catch other truckers also in the wrong.

The Evo is Amazing! I have set in one at an emergency services roadshow, the engine sounds like a beast! We have Scooby Impreza's too

Okay, So I was looking through the site and found a thread from March I think about a roleplay.. that was organized but got cancelled because nobody wanted to do it, and those who did.. didn't take it seriously. Since then, I haven't noticed any other posts about a RPG event, So I thought I would start one.

I run a Clan already on Xbox 360 GTA IV TBOGT which is the LCFBI- www.lcfbi.co.uk So I am used to roleplaying a lot. A lobby, I believe only caters for 16 players. I was thinking something like this...

Team 1- Civilian Group A

Team 2- Civilian Group B

Team 3- Police

Team 4-Fire and Ambulance/ Rescue

Team 5- FBI

We would have to sort out the teams properly in a lobby, but thats what I was thinking.

NOTE: You must have a mic, and Xbox Live Gold to be allowed to participate.

Rules: CIVILIANS

- No Firing from Vehicles

- DO NOT randomly sticky another persons vehicle

- Civilians can get jobs etc

- Civilians must register their car

- Civilians may not carry armour

- Civilians may not carry more than a pistol, UNLESS they are doing a scenario which has been approved by Chief of Police, or Special Supervisory Agent of the FBI.

- You cannot constantly run from police, by all means live a life of crime, but come on.. take it serious

- Treat it like real life, are you really going to shoot that officer in the face?

Rules: COPS

- You may only use the vehicle specified by the Chief of Police.

- Only 1 unmarked unit, which is to the spec of a Buffalo.

- You may carry a Glock, Armour and the Police Shotgun.

- The glock can be used as a firearm or a taser by shouting "TASER!"

- You can only stop a vehicle if they have broken the law.

- No excessive force

- If the Chief of Police calls off the pursuit, you place a warrant out for the arrest, and stand down.

- In the event of a stand off, contact FBI

- In the event of a Hostage situation, Bomb alert, Murder, Bank Robbery, Armed Robbery etc. FBI are to alerted

- Your character must wear- Torso 3, Legs 2, Any glasses, but NO hats

Rules: Fire and Ambulance

- Your character must wear - Torso 1, Legs 2

- Not really any rules for you guys, just BEHAVE!

Rules: FBI

- You will arrive to the FBI HQ in a Black Landstalker, Serrano or Huntley.

- You will carry a Glock, Armour and a P90.

- The same rules as the Police really.

- Character must wear - Torso 4, legs 2, Any Glasses, NO hats

Rules for Everyone:

- No Swearing, Okay you can get away with the odd swear word, but not excessively.

- No racism, or hate abuse

- No infringing on the rules

- The most important rule, Have Fun!

I saw the lights on the Police car in the pursuit, looked pretty basic to be honest. Why don't rockstar add LED light bars? They know people are just going to chuck mods in anyway..

Its more the realism of the game. GTA is about crime and deviance from society, and the only way you can have maximum affect is by maximizing the realism of the emergency services who play a vital role in combating crime. GTA IV Pursuits and incidents were handled very unrealistically, and very rarely (unless you surrender) is the event brought to a safe conclusion.

Also with role playing, its important that its realistic. 50%, or probably more, people who play GTA IV are role players. RolePlay is about realism and strategy.

In my opinion, the Emergency Services were a let down to GTA IV. It bought you back into reality when being chased by police.

Have you tried deleting the mod completely, and downloading it again? Mine worked perfectly fine.. But try deleting it, and see what happens

I send in a few foam tenders and Engine 1's to different locations, then bring in a couple of mass casualty units. It might also be handy, calling in police to move away other bystanders to avoid more injuries

Really Looking forward to the next release.. Can I just ask, are you planning to add more lighting options to the light controls (I.e 999 buttons, rear reds) such as, Headlights etc? Just a random question there.

Also I noticed that the ARV guys, get out of the car.. pull out the firearm they are carrying, then to get them back in the vehicle, you have to switch to an MP5, replace the MP5 then you can get in.. Has anyone else got this, or is it an error in my dept?

I would really like to see incidents that involve the van too, not much of a large scale occurs in the mod so its a bit... Not boring, but easy?

Ah yes without a doubt, GTA IV is great for roleplays, don't get me wrong.. but you can only fit about 16 people in a lobby, which isn't enough in my opinion.. Plus there isn't a variety in scenes, unlike that on the trailer of GTA V.

Yeah totally agree, although the game would sell so much better if they listened to different audiences and got ideas from people..but hey ho, we'll find a way I have seen a few of them, They are quite good! I quite like the Merc Sprinter police van, and a few others as well.

Yeah completely agree with the Emergency Services, GTA IV is ridiculous with the unprofessionalism.. Its meant to be second to none in realism, but to me its no where near as realistic as it could be.

I love roleplaying, so I definitely agree with that point too! I do Cops and Crooks TDM quite a bit

Yeah, maybe like speeding tickets in a way, and having a variety of options to choose from too... There is alot rockstar could learn by listening to the people who play the game like alot!

Hello All, I thought I would use this part of the forum to pass out the word on my new GTA IV Tbogt Clan. ( Hopefully, this is legit, Sincere apologies to admins if this is forbidden)

Basically, I run LCFBI, Which Stands for Liberty City Federal Bureau of Investigation. Originally, I was going to just have FBI, but became concerned that it may cause a few issues legally ( Inevitably, it would of) ANYWAY, The concept of the clan is to respond to scenarios that have been set up, and act accordingly to bring the incident to a safe conclusion. I have a lot of positions open for Agents and Special Agents, and need them filled as soon as. I also am looking for people willing to help me train to, but to get into this role, previous SWAT or Police clan experience is essential.
