    Change or add? If you mean change I was wondering that to, but I have a feeling there is no way to do so , but thats just a guess. If you want to add a lightbar go to edit children, then edit child.

    I know how to add them, but I guess the originals are just part of the v3o model.

    um well the thing is is that if you are going to reskin the chp cruser for the police car be aware there is a chance you will have a problem with the bumper and the trunk colors. Also if you end up resking the chp charger it will look really close to the nypd one.

    Ps: i vote 1995

    I've reskined the CHP car before, and I didn't have any problems, but I will look into it. But yes I like the 1995 car as well.

    *Quick Question for the people reading this*

    Do you guys think I should skin the Police car to look like the modern-day white NYPD skin, or should I make it look like the 1995 NYPD skin? I like the 1995 personally. Please let me know your opinion!! :) Oh, and does anyone know how to change the lightbars?

    P.S. I have the Brush Truck and LACoFD Heavy Equipment Truck re-skinned. I will get pics of those out very soon, most likely in a couple hours.

    well when i reskined my ladder truck i did not have that problem i think they are just errors by the computer cause when i reskined the heavy rescue some things are still showing up red. So from my opinion each of our computers interprets the data diffrent.

    Maybe... I dunno. I'll get back to you on it. Still tryin to fix it.

    K Guys, lets see if you can help me out with this. The bucket on the FDNY ladder truck is transparent for some wierd reason. If I edit it and make the truck not have "Alpha reflections" then it is transparent. When I do "alpha reflections", the bucket is whole and goody again but the truck is a wierd, sort of white shade. Any help is apreciated.

    Hope to have the USAR truck reskinned to look like Res2cue by tonight. :)

    I have the same problem with the NYPD car. One door on the left side still says LAPD on it, and its the LAPD original texture, but just that door. Hard to figure out, huh?

    what probably happened was you made a small error in the editting of v3o for that file or something... Want me to take a look? if so, just send me the v3o in an email...

    Hey bama i figured i hould ask you since you already provided a lot of help for me so i wanted to ask you about this.

    i was skinning this and when i started the editor the two back doors and rear door were red any idea what may be causing this. By the way i did this in paint :gut:

    I didn't think there was a "battalion cheif 2". Did you customize that? Anyway Ive had that problem, and I don't have a fix yet, but if I think of something I'll let you know right away.

    are you also gonna make something like aways traffic stuck?

    It might be possible, but mostly unlikely. The game's flow of traffic is difficult to modify due to bugs and glitches. I will, however, change the map up a little to look more like NYC.

    Thank you for helping me out bama hope you like it.The first pic is the Austin travis county ems Ambulance the yellow one ( my first skin )

    Next is the NYPD esu truck which was my second skin.( says esu on top )

    and third is the NYPD suv the white suv ( my third skin ever )

    Im impressed. Your first models turned out really well. :) I wish I could show you my first one, looked like a 3-year old did it. Keep up the good work!

    how do i upload them when i try and cut and paste it wont let me.
    I am done with a nypd suv and esu truck you inspired me :)

    At the bottom left of the text box (outside the text box) there are 2 buttons, one says browse the other says upload. The upload button is green. Hit "browse" and select the JPEG picture (make sure not the BMP, that wont work) Then hit "Upload". Once it has uploaded, right above the upload button there is a box that says Manage Current Attachments. Click that, it will come down, and then hit the little paper button with the green plus sign that adds the attachment. That should work.

    sorry i was not clear, I was asking how do you upload them. i know for picures from the internet you need the website but how do you do it for Fraps pictures.I hope i can send these to you soon because i was also able to make two nypd skined units :police:

    PS:do i need to convert the photos mabie that is what i am doing wrong? :sporty:

    Ok I see. Use DDS Converter to change the BMPs into JPEGs then upload. The pics should be in C:\Fraps

    Really Wonderful MOD!!! i really like it!!!!!!!! congratulations to the modder. Finally someone edit a mod with the NY Emergency Services that i think they are one of the most Interesting and Good of the world.

    PS: the FDNY Staff is very nice :12:
