  10. Guys, I Absolutely Love the London Modification, but think it can be better using some of the other things I have found in other mods. I have therefore decided to Start a Sub-Mod. Bellmoor Modification Features: 2x Fire Stations (One Similar to 'Bow' Fire Station in East London, one Similar to 'Dockhead' Fire Station in South London (Londons Burning) -Fully Working Doors -Crews able to change in and out of Turnout gear -Turnout System (TBD) (Crews automatically board appliances and change into Fire Gear) -BA Systems can be put on -Areas in which crews can spend down time (so they dont clog up the Station as in Manhattan Mod) 1x Ambulance Station (Similar to 'poplar' ambulance station) -Door and Down time system as above -Off Map Hospital, however ambulance returns after spending a few moments off map. -Off Map Helicopter 1x Police Station -Smallish in Stature, (Similar to 'Eltham' Police Station in South London) All Buildings and street furniture replaced. -Terraced housing -Council Estates -Town Hall -Churches And some Very basic stuff im starting on. The Vehicles will simply be the ones already from the London Mod, I just hope to add a few new character models (skins). If anyone is interested in helping, or has any comments or suggestions, then please dont hesitate to post!

  12. Hi Guys, Absolutely amazing mod, love playing it, love everything about it! However after a few hours of playing this in freeplay mode, I have a few suggestions if I may. 1) Can you equip the Engines with the Jaws of life, i mean, surely they wouldnt have to call in Rescue for a simple Traffic Collision (I may be wrong) 2) I Like to play full realism. When the rigs return to the Fire House, i de-bus the crew and get them out of their bunker gear, but obviously they respawn as different models, this is a nightmare to keep doing, but the effect on gameplay is very interesting. I have two points and i'd like to know if they would be possible: a) Could an area with a table and chairs be built that they can 'sit' in when not at an emergency, im sure its just a case of wrangling some code. b) Could a script be added so that when you open the door to the Fire house, they immedietely get up and go to their rigs? c) Is it possible that they automatically get into bunker gear once they are in the rig for more than say, 20 seconds? 3) also, personally, i think there are too many siren choices! i get a bit baffles by them all!!! I absolutely love the mod though! I love the distance between calls in the freeplay mode, it gives you time to play the game to the max!!!

  19. So I thought i'd spend half an hour before getting into the spirt. A pretty simple model of an ambulance. I'm going to give it a simple skin, and then try and get it ingame over the next few days.
  20. very true on all counts. I might make a start on some buildings. The key thing i want is to know that, if i do decide to put together a small team to build this, are people goign to take the time to play it!

I'm not spamming ideas, I want to know if its something worth me persuing. sorry mate I should of mentioned, i can model completely in 3dsmax, maya and Sketchup and can handle very basic scripting. I am a graphic designer by trade so can handle 2d graphics completely, including recreating and reproducing them from scratch.

Hi all, I've been dabbling a lot with an idea of doing a complete mod, I'm not sure how well it would work, or if anyone would be interested in playing it, this isnt green lighted in the slightest, but if anyone is interested in helping contribute, give me a shout. Heres the idea: blitz mod: Set in 1940 London. Ambulance Service: A Doctor Travelling in a Civilian Vehicle A single Ambulance will be available Hearse Fire Services: Regular Fire Appliance National Fire Service Appliance Civil Defence Rescue Truck NFS Fire Boat ARP Warden Police: A lot will be based on foot patrol Police Car Black Mariah type Van Flying Squad Car Military Police Jeep Engineer etc: REME Engineer Squad Royal Engineers Bomb Disposal Squad Civil Defence Heavy Rescue Squad He're the Freeplay plan: A day/night Cycle, 2 minutes per hour. At approximately 8pm you are warned of approaching enemy aircraft. its your task to sound the sirens and prepare for the raid. the raid will last approximately 2 hours (4 minutes) and will involve the dropping of high explosive and incendarie bombs. After which you have have a respite for another 4 hours before the second wave. In the morning you sound the all clear and rebuild/rescue during the day. Ambulance tasks: Wounded by explosives Wounded by burns Heart attack fatigue Fire Brigade/Civil Defence tasks: Fire casued by incedary bomb Fire by explosion People trapped in building People burried in shelter Police tasks: Looting Deserter/AWOL soldier Pickpocketing Burglary Engineer Tasks: Air Raid Shelter damaged Air Raid Siren Down Unsafe structure (needs to be shored up etc) Water pipes down this is literaly just in embryo, i appreciate it will be an awful lot of work to get it all in, but think it could utalise a decent engine, to something completely different. What are your thoughts?
