    [EN] Main Changes:

    - New content

    * Continuation of the campaign

    * New challenging main event: An accident on Berlin's Wannsee reactor leads to major fires and severe contamination. The population of the German capital is threatened!

    * 4 new events: Prison break, terrorists detonate chemical bomb, traffic accident involving chemical transport, traffic accident brawl

     

    - New features

    * Emergency vehicles turn now on the way back to the base from the flashing lights and sirens

    * Units can now get moving commands by clicking on the minimap

    * The camera can now be rotated with Alt + arrow keys

    * Firefighters with ABC suits are now the only units bringing the contaminated person in the Deconp. The Deconp can now be accessed exclusively by firefighters with ABC suits.

    * Vehicle headlights now activate in fog or rain

    * People can now have broken bones in the arms and legs, and open wounds on the abdomen. For this new graphics have been added.

     

    - Advanced Graphics Settings

    * The following settings can be adjusted in the Options menu now: post-processing quality, lighting quality, decoration density, shadow-quality, texture quality, mesh quality, effect quality, depth of field, anti-aliasing

    - Mod Support

    * Players can upload and activate downloaded modifications in the launcher

    * Players can create and publish their own modifications in World Builder

    * Online functionality: Multiple players can simultaneously work on the same map

    - Performance

    * Meshes were converted into a more efficient format

    * Several minor improvements in performance and memory consumption have been made

    * Improving simulation performance

     

    - AI

    * The AI will now respond much better to bridges and underpasses. Numerous bugs have been fixed that could cause persons or vehicles jumped on bridges, rather than including to move under it.

    * Some minor adjustments in AI have been made to improve the behavior of people and vehicles

     

    - Various other bug and crash fixes

  2. i'm also missing any reference to load and/or create/edit a mod. map creator tool is there but there is no button that says "Load mod" or anything, also there is no folder that says that says you have to put mods in here. 

  3. scripting is just as basic as it is, you have to do it your own. it doesn't require to build a custom tool to edit the script, so why should they talk about it.
    its already confirmed emergency 5 will be better modable then emergency 4, i wouldn't be that concerced about it.

  4. News

    It's finally summer holiday and that's meaning i can resume work on emergency 4 and my website, the topic has already being updated a little and more things are going to be changed.

    Website

    First of all the website, i'm going to restyle the website in a more themed website more suitable by emergency. I do already have some idea's but if you good in adobe photoshop try to make some nice template yourself and share it with me, i would really appreciate it. Besides the lay-out i'm going to make on the website a log-in system which allows me to add several features to you. those features will be later me tellend and the upcoming announchments.

    Development Team

    The development team am i going to drop. From now on, every one who wants to join has to be able to do something beside testing.

    Also we going to work more organised as a team, but those details are findable in tread details, and more as when you join.

    Mods & Submods

    So good, as well bad news, A few submods are not to be made which were annouched in previous annouchments, but i'm also planning to make some new one which will be annouched later.

    Also if the crew grows as i wish i might be going to make my/our own mod. (don't hope too much for it)

    you meaning using status updates for making ad for your site. i -> think <- they just allow it as long as you don't miss use it like puthing like to survey, phising or virus sites.

    might be wrong.

  6. Is there anyway that It will automatically start instead of pressing Modification And choose it and wait until it loads?

    during installation you could choice to have a desktop icon and let start the LA Mod automaticly, notice that you will have a black screen while loading, this will be around the same time as when you go to modification and then load the mod.

  7. I guess you could say things are going slightly rough, I'm having some problems with the DDS Converter this site offers, and I can't find a free or affordable image converter, so the skins aren't going as well.

    NVidea has a photoshop dds plugin working for all photoshop 32 bit versions. (photoshop 64 bit isn't supported and doenst work).

  8. I Mark's Productions is looking for new staff to help with new submods, upgrading submods and upgrading the site.

    Because we would like to extend to something bigger and we would like to have some experienced people on the team.

    We're looking for:

    - Scripters

    - Modeler

    - UV-Mapping

    - Webdesigner/Webmaster with experience in HTML & PHP

    What do you get:

    - A personal email address (all community to and from the e-mail can be checked)

    - The ability to be on a wonderfull team of developers.

    What do we expect

    - Have all the (legitime) software to do your jobs.

    If your able to please share/show some of your work, this will give you some more priority.

  9. i'm running 5 different LA Mods to make compatibility packs with other submods and my submods and it running at full experience and without extra bugs.

    just be copying the default files into a other map. and it might be usefull to edit e4mod.info to see which mod is which.

  10. With help from a good friend of my (Altogoten, not known here) i host my site from his PC so i can work on a professional PHP website.

    I'm now busy to upgrade my site and working on a Multi-language site, indeed i have to admit that my language isnt so good at other languages then dutch (& english),

    That's why i want to ask the community here to help me finishing the website with a perfect translating of my website.

    I prefer to have my website Available in the following languages: US, UK, NL, DE & FR (united states, united kingdom, netherlands, deutsch/german & french)

    If somebody feel himself called to help me you can take contact with me by PM. (Dutch/Netherlands & english will be my part)

    I still like to have someone from the UK and someone from the US to check my english and the difference between US and UK english cause i do not know the difference exactly.

    Cause it is a website you will only have a one-time mentioning here at this forum and the news section at my website.

    I will send you all the text as soon as my dutch & english part has being finish, after you recieve it and finished the job i prefer to have to text translated in a .txt file (Doc or docx aren't appreciated)

    The only thing i like to know is in which country you life/which language do you translate.
