I got the texture from the cars package/mod Civil Cars Cooperation. You get that files in any mod(In some mods like in the LA mod , they are locked)

I don't have that smart car texture package you have. I just need to know how to get the texture from a vehicle or personel from the EM4 mod file,get it into photoshop,reskin it, and save. I am reskinning units from LA mod.If you used the same script as LA mod, would the vehicles have the same capabilities and seating capacity. If you reskined the personel, would they have the same actions(pull out gun,stop vehicles,arrest).

It was actually good. It mixed TV drama and firefighting. Not like the stupid show rescue me on tv now a days. This show was on in the early 70s.

Just a question ... if your new at modding why are you already trying to make a mod? Shouldn't you be learning first before you attempt to reskin an entire city / county.

I stressed "new" too much. I have read hoppah's modding tutorial and am working with a friend. I spend ALOT of time at the modding help forum. I just wanted to reskin a few vehicles to get the jist of it and to see my personal interest in reskinning vehicles and a map for a whole mod. I've played the game for two years now and wanted to create my own mod. I am reskining LA mod vehicles,personnel,map, and using the same script.

New at modding. Photoshop is too expensive so i got paint.net. How do you reskin with paint.net? Can someone please just answer the question!

Trying to reskin LA fire engine 2 for Somerville mod with paint.net because photoshop is too expensive. Do you need the DDS plugin because I think paint.net comes with it. I tries to open the file up, but it just says "windows cannot find program to open it".
