  1. Itchboy let me express my thanks to you and bama! You have been working on this several months and now you are not even going to sleep.

More I am worried about your upload speed than the work. I am sure you will solve the problems quickly, however uploading the possibly huge file with 90kbps will take AGES. Anyway, we gotta wait.

  2. To everyone concerend:

Bama has basically given me 3 additional hours to work on this. I am very sorry for any inconviniences you guys had especially having to stay up late.

I promise I'll get the link up ASAP. Right now though, I gotta go off to church. See you guys in about and hour and a half.

Absolutely OK. The Earth won't stop spinning if it will be released now or several hours later. Enjoy your time in the church. Just got off duty so I am just all right with everything recently going on. So no rush..

  3. Truly is unbelievable. Police Related Shootings/targetings have been out of control recently.

Surprised more didn't respond. They could have easily had a lot more. The NYPD is roughly the size of the U.S Coast Guard, at 40,000 officers.

Thank you for the example. R.I.P to those 2 officers. Wish they would have caught the shooter before he shot himself, he deserves to rot in a cell for eternity.

Yep. I would love to make him one old known police method while having him on gunpoint - ''You've spitted on my hand, wipe it off!'', you can imagine what would happen. Simply you would shoot him and claim he tried to take your gun. But nah, it is not used anymore, at least I hope. But decades ago it was used in Texas from what I know. What else would you do with these bastards..

More responded, but not at the place of shooting. Do not forget, that radio said ''shots fired, officer down, suspect heading to the subway''. So lots of units also responded to the subway to apprehend the suspect. It doesn't matter how it ended. If he hadn't shot himself, police would. And I am 100% sure of that. You just don't arrest cop killers. They're the worst kinda scum.

No problem, hope this sad incident brought you some clarifying about how NYPD dispatch units to major cases like this.

  4. For the most part:

    - A few units that are missing, mostly units that aren't crucial to gameplay

    - Some traffic issues, although we think this has been at least partially resolved

    - Possible bugs in scripts

    - Unpolished UI and sound FX

    - Lack of many new freeplay events

    - Some incomplete units, might be missing lights, etc

All of those things will be addressed in 2.1 patch

Can't wait for the 2.1 patch! Especially meaning those new freeplay events. Could you, please, mention one of them? I am dying to know that.

  5. Ok, so I'll name all of the units off except for stuff like riots and bomb threats etc.

    Thanks for letting me know.

As a good and sad example can be slaining two NYPD officers (rest in peace, brothers).

    - You can see how many police officers responded. There were like 60 officers on scene in less than 10 minutes. It is really crazy, nothing like that couldn't be achieved in Toronto, we don't have the manpower. Dispatcher surely didn't name every responding unit. Propably on FD and EMS was rushed by naming. As you can see there, we're like borthers together, so there is no need to name units, all of them just arrive. I remember from the police academy that there was some gang who listened to police radio. When something horrible like that happened and every unit responded, they went to rob the bank. I don't recall the name of this gang but it has somehow got stuck in my memory.
  6. With NYPD, it depens. If there is some minor call such as medical call, dispute or so, usually dispatcher names every unit which is presumed to respond. But if there are shots fired, officer down (RIP two fellow brother who have died recently) or officer needs help, dispatcher doesn't name every unit. Every unit nearby and in the district responds.

95% of all the calls are minor ones. Arguing, domestic violence and stuff.

  7. Well, thanks for that, the study is always in the first place, I made the new texture for the firefighters, and yes I will make the belt for the officers, and the auther of River Falls mod is helping me with the modding of the fire engine for the Carlsbad Fire Department. I will also make the SWAT for the Carlsbad Police Department and SEB for the San Diego Sheriff's Department.

I see. I am looking forward to these uniforms. It is more common that SWAT and SEB is one task force that contains sheriff deputies and Carlsbad PD SWAT members. It would be interesting seeing it there.

  8. Nice. But where are the crooks, drunkheads, drugs, dead bodies and stuff that we encouter every day? It has to be nice to serve near the sea. Yeah, but I don't think it's that one-sided. Anyways, nice recruiting video. Hope they are gonna get a lots of new recruits - full of wishes, elan and naive.

Howz the mod going on? I have actually discovered it right now! And it looks freaking awesome. Love the uniforms you have done. Are you planning to make service belt on them?

Just found out that Carlsbad has some good realations with Czech city Karlovy Vary which basically means Carlsbad lol. I didn't know that and I come from Karlovy Vary area! WOW!

  9. Exactly. It is good to know dispatch policy. Since it is a metropolitan FD or PD, it means there will be the same protocol for all the agencies. Not like in Toronto, where RCMP, OPP and TPS have each little different.

http://www.fdnewyork.com/aa.asp - This is the NY dispatch protocol for FDNY

http://www.911dispatch.com/info/tencode_nypd.html - NYPD dispatch protocol, 10 codes, rapid mobilization codes (really good and useful thing), and more stuff.

FIX: (So people know exactly what I did)

    Go to 911-FirstResponders/Mods/MayberryMod v1.3/Models/Vehicles/02Fire.

Open "MCC1". Delete the files inside it.

Open "MCC2" Copy all the files inside it.

Go back to "MCC1" and Paste all the files inside it.

    Enjoy! Thank you Alex!!

Thanks for the specifying. I crashed to me in 911 Responders, however in Emergency 4 Deluxe didn't, weird.. Now it works, thanks both of you guys.
