I did it differently. I just added a light on the chest for the flashlight so they can still work while the light is on. Let me get a few ingame pics.

EDIT:Fixed it. I just reinstalled LA mod and the Command post script. I was playing and it works great. Also another idea: How about Flashlights for FF? I got the light done the only issue is im not a scripter and would know how to edit the floodlight script for personel use. I set the current light to turn on only at night and put it on the USAR FF LAFD FF/EMTand Paramedic with SCBA gear. It does come in handy.

Every time i go to deploy the command post it crashes:( Any ideas?

NiceXD How about a MCU(ATF for example) skinned for LAFD use. And when it is delployed it can call for units. Just for large fires.(like the forest fire mission)

That command is run at start up and only when fire alarm is sounded, for that script to be adapted to what your thinking would be more hassle then gain.

I can imagine............ On the other hand how bout just adding stand-by command to the viechles. Or just some parking spots for them.

Just a idea. How about Fire Trucks and Police Cars having the ablity to call for back up/EMS etc. And would adding a stand-by command to the corners/towtruck work?

I set my SWAT SUV to patrol as well as some other random units that i get tiered of having to recall them. I also normaly have the UMPC with 2 Regular SWAT Officers and 2 with MP5s just as a Quick Reaction Force to any kinds of shooting, hostage situtations, and Riots.

I dont have alot of experience with scripting and coding but i would say that the script is set to call the BLS engine. If it is replaced then you much change it in the script too, but this is just my theoy.

This means that you have loaded something wrong into the game... are you sure your using the additional units submod in with this?

No I do not have Additional Units installed. Whoops:P I will uninstall then restall LA Mod and then Install Additional Units Submod and then install the new skins.

Which files would I have to remove to keep the LAPD Car the same Because for some odd reason it isn't "Built" correctly. Like the front doors are on top of the back doors.

Ok. I unlocked engine 1's DDS. The Editor says it is unlocked. But, when i go to load it in GIMP (with DDS Plug-in) I get errors: 1. Invalid DDS file. 2. Invalid DDS header! The DDS Converter says that the convertson has failed also. Any ideas? Im just trying to make a White Fire Truck.

Same problem I cloned a LAPD car and edited the lights alittle and it does have a siren. So........................ How do I make it have a siren?

I have no clue but I agree the fires spread way to fast. I'm thinking that it's in the editer.

well first i am running vista,i down load the los angles mod and just cant get it to work.what am i doing wrong

could any one please tell me how I can enable/disable for example the battalion chief's ability to "buy" or call units from off the map?

Simple what i do is sell all of my units from the viecle section tab and when you calll for something like a BLS engine it will say "No Unit Avaible"

it works now i restarted the game

ok what do u suctjest i do reinstall the mod or start a new game
