  1. Traffic: Pathing issues? Will this get fixed, or will traffic jams always bug us.

    Lots of such opinions Ive heard here. Im really shocked! How do U make traffic jams? Post screenshots please!

    caused by redirecting traffic! Be careful to redirect! Frankly speaking its no need to redirect at all!

    At the accident scene just place your units the way not to block traffic. If its impossible - let civil car to wait till you finish your work at the scene. Dont redirect traffic.

    Yes, Patroling in the west part of the map does cause jams. Just redirect patrol car wich follows that path to patrol clockwise and it wont cause a single jam!

    Thats the bad bag. You have to redirect traffic here and it is the reason of jam in the first pic.

    Beforу the patch2 out, try to find where that thread comes from and block it there.

    Or use the editor to fix this problem (move west VirtObj to the west)

  2. I am thinking about changing patrolpath choosing back.

    But everyone can just take patrol.script from 1.8! Will it work?

    The only think i would like to have - is a scheme of patrolpathes. Could you post it here (on minimap)?

    It would help me to place vehicles before pushing patrol button.

  3. I did, and the patrol command now chooses the closest path to the police vehicle. That's also why a few people complained about having only 1 patrol path. The command does not randomly pick a path for the patrol anymore.

    I see. So when we send cars to patrol when its just spawned at the police station -all of them will use the samу path.

    No problem. We should just desperce police car in the city and THEN press patrol button.

    Im quite happy with the traffic. Dont reduce it in the futer patches please!

    Traffic works fine as long you keep checking the roads for blocking objects including your own emergency vehicles.

    I quite agree with you!

    New installer look respectable. Frankly speaking the both ways of installing are equal for me. But if installer has more comression - lets use it.

    - What do you like/hate about the new freeplay map?

    I like wide 4-lane roads full of traffic =)

    I didnt check patrolpathes at editor yet, but it seemed that all of them too close to each other.

    I suggest to divide map to 3 districts, and each patrolpath should run trought only 1 district

    Personal;) I dont like thin LA-river. It look thin like brook. I guess its close to reality but....

  5. Hi Hoppah! The map is great!

    I didnt seen any really bad bugs there.

    Nevertheless I can report:

    a trafic path bug: it happend a few times,

    I confirm.

    -The water is static for me too (Deluxe edition) (But I use the minimal graphics options)

    -Squad units drives wired on the bridge.

    -Patrol units seemed to drive the same patrolpath too often.
