  1. Welcome to the virtual world of Bieberfelde! Bieberfelde is the first multiplayer-optimized modification for EMERGENCY 4. The modification can be played with up to four players in the multiplayer mode of the game and offers an incredible view into the work of fire and rescue units. For this reason, the creators of Bieberfelde have designed an own virtual world with the county and town of Bieberfelde in the center. Even though the concept is fictive, the authors have heeded real specifications of the German fire and rescue system in order to achieve a completely new gameplay feeling. The source of the modification goes back to the year 2012. At this time, the ‚Rescue Trainer 2‘ was in development and the authors decided to create a very own vehicle concept for the modification. Later the vehicles were used for a private multiplayer project – this project ‚Bieberfelde’ was announced in 2015 and was introduced to the public. You'll also be able to download the English language pack with English translations on the site. Gameplay and technical support Official support is available at the German EMERGENCY-Fanforum community message boards. You can find several topics there, every topic has English translation in the second post. Attention Due to the very detailed vehicles and game world, the system requirements are very high. For this reason, the modification doens't support Intel onboard graphic solutions (Intel HD) and needs at least 4 GB RAM. Despite that, you generally can play with Intel CPUs, if you own a dedicated graphic card. In this case please check, if the game is choosing the dedicated graphic card at startup. If you have any problems with crashes or freezes, please read this topic (English instructions in the second part of the post). If you still can't play the modification even if you have followed the steps, your hardware isn't suitable for playing Bieberfelde.

    A plugin for Emergency 5/2016, providing some new commands. Mostly intended to be used by mod authors or mappers who want to create maps with separate parking spaces and stations. But most functions are also usable for normal maps - just install and activate the testmod. New Commands Turn siren, head-, blue-, and warninglights on and off If a vehicle is sent back to HQ, it waits until all crewmembers it came with entered the vehicle (they do automatically). Criminals and victims get handled automatically, too. If someone can't enter for some reason due to injuries or otherwise, they will be ignored. Boats and robots get loaded up automatically. When holding CTRL or STRG when sending vehicles back, crewmembers enter the vehicle, but the vehicle does not return to HQ. When a new vehicle gets ordered from the menu, the following happens: If a vehicle of the same type is already on the map and on the way to HQ, this one will get called. If this is not the case, a new vehicle will appear as usual. To make sure this works as it should, vehicles returning to HQ are not selectable. There's a new button above the minimap, which shows a list of all units on the map. When doubleclicking on a unit, the camera focuses on it, and, if possible, the unit will be selected. Selected units have a darker background. The coloured square shows the state of the unit (only used for vehicles at the moment). Green means it's ready for new orders (i.e. returning to HQ), yellow means it's in use. Red means destroyed, but this is not yet working correctly. It's possible to place parking spaces in the editor. Instead of returning to HQ, vehicles try to find a free parking space and park there. Special parking spaces for hospitals (unload victims) and prisons (unload criminals) are also available. There are a few of these parking spaces on the testmap. To ensure everything works correctly, automatisms were turned off. Sadly this is pretty annoying, but they don't work well the ambulance and the new ReturnToBase command. The names of all new commands for mod authors: user::ReturnToBase - Vehicle waits for crewmembers and searches parking space user::VehicleControlCommand - Shows a second row of commands to control lights and siren The names of the following commands should be self explanatory. These commands are available with the one above (user::VehicleControlCommand), and I recommend to only use that one.     After almost 3 years of modding, Squad 55 has finally decided to release our mod to the public. This mod has been based off of the LA 2.1 mod and has had hundreds of hours of additional changes and improvements. From map texture and layout, to the addition of new units and amazing lighting, functioning hospital, "code 2" scripts, customized stations with personnel area, there have been so many changes that it really is it's own mod. We decided to release this mod to the public for several reasons. We'd like to share Harbor City with the public and people who don't have the time to join a clan.
