  1. Try the other ideas in this topic (removing codecs, updating graphics drivers). Posting your logfile and DxDiag will help us to help you And I solved my problem using Codec Tweak Tool to remove broken codecs (bits left over after being uninstalled) and you can also use it to disable other codecs if you think those might be causing the problems. Download: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Codec_Tweak_Tool
  2. Ok so I haven't played 911:FR for awhile and when I went to play it recently I experienced the problem described in this thread (launch, black screen, crash to desktop). I updated my graphics driver and removed every codec i found except ffdshow (and i tried removing this as well, no change). Additionally, I uninstalled 911:FR and reinstalled it as well (multiple times with no change). Logfile DxDiag(x86) DxDiag(x64) If anyone could help I would appreciate it.
  3. out of curiosity what is the Large Rescue Ambulance in AUS based off of?
  4. I found a little bug that tends to appear after I have been playing the LA mod for more than an hour and a half or so. It involves the engines in FS1. They seem to not want to park in a straight line when they are in the rear spot in the FS. Then, when the engine in front of them leaves and then returns, it creates a jumbled mess that prevents all four engines from leaving the FS. I have attached two screen shots of this happening in two separate freeplay games. Any ideas what causes this or how it can be fixed?
  5. i've been working for the past couple of days trying to understand exactly how these scripts work without too much success. i'm sure a walk through for adding vehicles to the parking lot would be more than greatly appreciated when you have time to help us.
