help with modding sirens in la mod 1.8

hello everyone i am kind of new to this game but i have never went into edditing. i saw on youtube that you can custamize your sirens for police and fire department. i wanted to know could anyone help me with this? another thing is that i wanted to know how do you eddit the lights for the police cars. finily can you put the proccess in steps thanks

Firstly, welcome to the forums!

Secondly, this topic is in the wrong section, it should be in the Alterations subsection of the [EN|NL] Los Angeles Mod board.

At last, I will still answer your question as I am a nice guy.

1. Find siren sounds which would sound good while looped (played alot over and over)
   NOTE: There is also sirens which can be used and that are really nice (and unfortunately unrealistic) in the Mods\Los Angeles Mod v1.8\Audio\Fx\sirens\ALTERNATE SIRENS directory.
   
2. Open your Mods directory of your Emergency 4 directory
   
3. Navigate to Los Angeles Mod v1.8\Audio\Fx\sirens.
   
4. The sounds which are named Siren0*.wav are the ones you want to modify.
   Siren01 and 02 are used for Firetrucks;
   Siren03 and 04 are used for Ambulances;
   And Siren05 and 06 are used for Police Cars.
   
5. Please take note that every sound file should be in MONO.
