Lightbars together with cars/trucks

Recommended Posts

Hello!

Im totally new to this modelling, skinning and modding part. And started to look at other mods to see how they have done and started to look at Hoppah's tutorial (that looks really impressive good work hoppah). But I got a problem if I want to change lightbars on a existing model/skin/prototype in a mod how do I do that? Is it in the model? I dont see any skins of the lightbars in the main skin for the v3o model of the car. Can anyone plz explain little quick how it works or if there is an english tutorial of how it works:)

hi pudd.

lightbars can be found in the editor, they can be found under children. the main directoy for them is in a directory called squid. as far as i am aware you can put any light bar on any unit. BUT the lightbar that is already on the unit might not be able to be removed, unless it might be able to be removed in zmodeler2. zmodeler2 is a program used to make models (i cant make models). hope this helps

Ok! Thanks!

But now I got another problem!

When I add a lightbar it gets under the car and I can only change it forward, backward, left, right not up and down. How do I do that? So I can get the lightbar up where it should be.
