This was being called every tick, when the siren was on. V is the current vehicle. Take a look:

I appreciate this threat is a bit old now however I have this same issue, I have amended one of the Highway vehicles to be able to chase however when I click on it, the vehicle blows up instantly. I've tried searching the forum and Google for an answer but I can't find anything. I can't find the siren file with the above if statement in? Where exactly is it?

this one is an updated one which contains the btp prototypes and a new save + map
Does anyone find that the vehicles don't drive on the roads properly on this map? They are constantly cutting across pavements, car parks, grass etc.
-
Brilliant mod. Can't wait for the update where we can send vehicles to bases, I seem to spend half of my time just trying to park vehicles . My only complaint at the moment is with the concert in the top left of the map, when there's a murder / theft with a weapon etc it causes chaos as there are dozens of people running around on the map.

I can't get rid of the white boxes over the lights! The link to Svens Coronas just gives me an error message and I can't find them anywhere else
-
Loving the update! Just a shame that the ARVs and Astras cant chase people.

Some of Merseyside's finest:

Good point, but please don't but bump a year old topic
And on a seperate note, if you are the Flickr user with the massive amount of emergency vehicle photos, then well done - I love your pics, they're brilliant
Whoops! I got to here via the search facility and just didn't pay attention to the age at all, I assumed it was new due to the lack of replies! Sorry, my bad!
I certainly am, however my stream is private nowadays and not for public viewing any more unfortunately

Only 3 of the photo's that you've attached are actually from London...

Have you done anything to the config file?
Try uppdating your drivers and driectX
Now you mention it, my drivers and directX updated a couple of days ago, about the same time as the trouble started. Cheers for the advice, I'll have a look at my updates

Thanks for the changes but you needn't have put the other vehicles in, we're taling about the mod here.

My bad!! I meant to put a little note saying that's an essential vehicle that we need in the mod. Too late now!

@MusicamanDSP (Prepare for wall of text...)
Police Units:
Area Cars: (Silver BMW, Orange Stripe) These units contain normal officers, which for the UK means ASP and Pepper Spray but no Firearms, and their primary job is to respond to 999 emergency calls. They can hold 2 officers and 2 civilians in game but police normally carry one suspect per vehicle.
Traffic Cars: (Silver BMW, Blue and yellow Battenberg) These units contain Traffic Officer who are essentially normal officers but with white hats and fluorescent jackets. In real life they are mainly responsible for pursuits and road accidents, in game their BMW's are slightly quicker to represent advanced driver training.
Incident Response Vehicles (Known as IRV's): (Vauxhall Astra hatchbacks, Ford Focus hatchbacks, Hyundai i30 hatchbacks) The contain police officers who are responsible for a specific area in London, sometimes called a beat. They have lower powered cars as they are not meant for pursuit, rather containment.
ARVs: (BMW 525d Saloon & Estates) These Armed Response Vehicles (ARVs, also known as ARUs for Armed Response Units) contain officers from the Metropolitan Police's elite Firearm's Unit, CO19. These officers are most likely Authorised Firearms Officers and carry in addition to the 'normal kit' a Glock 17 and can retrieve a Heckler and Koch MP5A3 from their cars. Most carry Tazers now as well. A slight unrealistic representation in the mod is that the MP5s are burst/automatic whereas they are restricted to Semi only as they are authorised "Sufficient force to remove the threat."
TSG Vans: (Mercedes Sprinter Box Van as well as some older LWB white Mercedes Sprinters left) These vans carry officers from the Met Police's Territorial Support Unit. These officers deal primarily with violent suspect and Public Order incidents, they are also the officers who deal with riots. In game they can get a riot shield but unlike real life it is bullet proof in the mod.
MarPol Unit: (Land Rover) This is the Marine Policing Unit and contains officers who are trained in diving and the use of boats to patrol the River Thames and to search for missing persons and evidence.
Station Vans: (Ford Transits) These vans are used in areas of London and can respond to emergency calls just like the IRV's or Area cars but often are called upon by other units to transport violent prisoners as they have a cage in the back.
Hope that helps,
The OC-D
Made some minor alterations (in bold)

Reading through bits of this topic, the Jankel and saloon BMW 3 series area car are meant to be in the mod correct? But they aren't on mine! I've just re-downloaded and looked through the files and they're not there

I can confirm there is more than one Land Rover Defender 110 on Merseyside, not sure of the roof code for PN05AEA at this time but I'll have a dig about for you.
-
Ok. Where is this from? If you can find it, what is is used as, and who by?
I can confirm that is a Hampshire Police Dog Section Ford Focus Estate. Seen at the South West Dog Trials 2010, held at the Emergency Services Show, Hulavington Airfield, Wiltshire.

Wow, can't wait for this!
I've got thousands of photos of Merseyside emergency vehicles (mostly MerPol), my website is http://www.flickr.com/Jon-999 . Everything on there is pretty well tagged so if you do a search on my photostream for whatever you want it will come up. If you want the larger sized photo or can't find anything or generally have any questions on MerPol, feel free to PM me
I have a request though, you can't forget about these two cars!
-
Can I just say, this is definitely the best mod for LA! Love the way the patrols can park in the back! Only suggestion I have is a small LASD and Port Police stations somewhere with room for 2 or 3 cars
Good work!
Jon

Have flash lights behind the grill at the BMW, is it right?
Yes, they have LEDs behind the grille.

Love all of these Merseyside models! Especially the last two (PN08HZH & PN08HZT) which are amazingly accurate! I cant find anything major different from the real thing:
