Hey all, long time member here, been away for a while, now I'm back and I just have a question.

So I'm playing the Harbor City mod and I've been trying to disable ALL off the events except for traffic accidents and I can't get it to work. I've tried messing with every value possible that might affect it but usually either NO events happen at all or I just have ONE traffic accident in the beginning and nothing after. I've tried in both Endless as well as Challenge.

If someone could shed some light on selecting on type of events, I'd appreciate it, Thanks!

Ohhhh Del Valle huh? A local boy haha, I'd love to man, but I'm to impatient with the map editor. If someone GOOD could help make maps, I would try to make a bitchin map that would incorporate all the different terrains of LA County. Oh and speaking of which, if someone could please, since I don't know dick about editing people skins, could make a female LASD deputy and SEB guys, I would greatly appreciate it.

I know what you mean, it was confusing to me also when I first started using it. Basically, start up a game that Fraps works with, and you should see and FPS counter in the corner in yellow. When you push the record button, and the FPS turns red, you know your filming, otherwise you're not.

You should create a section of the map including Del Valle, lol, that would be nice.

The hi-viz on all vehicles since the first RAs (2007 models?) to come with hi-viz has been toned down siginificantly.

The current color is more of a darker yellow, while the old hi-viz is a brighter yellow and more like the ARFF color.

Ahh, now I see. Idk why but I had it in my head that this was the same as the first Hi-Viz. My mistake.

Makes you wonder if our agency is the only one to have this problem with the striping or if others faced the issue also..

Honestly, the hi-viz stiping on the back of the new kme looks to me like it will have the same problem LAFD had with the new ALS rescues a while back. ALthough it doesn't show as much as the back of the rescue, it could pose a problem.

How do I get the update? The game won't let me update, so where can I download it?

Currently, the developers are updating the game in beta format. The latest version is 0.38.19.

In order to change the time of day, make sure you have caleum enabled for sky settings in the config, then use the "shift" and "+" or "-".

Well it seems that you all has the understanding that the mod has been in progress for 3-4 years, well, you're right but wrong on the same time. FFW TUT stated in the statement found on the first post in the topic, that this concept we are working on right now was started at the beginning at the summer. Although, I don't think any judging would have a meaning before you really know the project. Just a little heads-up.

No matter the time it has taken so far, I think we can unanimously say that we will all wait another 3 years if we need to. No rush guys. Keep it up

Back on topic: tutorials are made to be easy and explanatory not difficult and confusing.

I think that this easily holds the #1 position for the MOST ANTICIPATED thing on the internet... EVAR!!

My guess is that right now they've basically finished the game(maybe a few touch ups here and there), and their main focus is putting together the media package for the final release.
