There wouldn't be a water supply with a set amount of water exactly. Instead in order to connect discharge hoses and use the deck guns on the foam tender it would have to be connected to two or three engines. It would still have an unlimited amount of water, because it's impossible to have a limited water supply.

I think it was the London mod that was able to connect engines to hydrants and such.

I know, but 2 deck guns and 4 hose connections would be an overkill. Also, in reality, foam tenders do not have sufficient water tanks for two deck guns, so each foam tender needs 2 to 3 fire engine's to supply the water.

so it wouldn't be possible to let the fire fighters make a water supply for the foam tender....made someone could make a command for the fire fighters....again.....

hey works really well but i do have two issues

first in the middle of thefreeplay map one building isn't shown.

second i can't use the cheats anymore. is that suppossed to happen?

One should never make the designer of his work second guess himself. The one in the middle Flies the MC flag because well, I like the MC flag better than the ARMY one! I know Hoppah's mission had a general in it from the Army, but I like the MC flag better thus, it got put on that car. That Particular model of limosine is extremely rare, I have only seen one of them before in my life, the far more common one is the standard looking Diplomatic Limo which is flying Dutch's flag. Do not let it's "normal" appearance fool you, it is extremely well armored, but given Hoppah's mission, I figured he would want something a bit more intimidating, so I made the rare but cool APC limo too. The USA-1 (aka POTUS Limo) has the Seal of the President of the United States of America, not the army flag.... Besides they are setup to where I could put your picture on the flag in 20 seconds if I wanted to:)

LA Mod v1.8 news!

It took a while but I have some more news about version 1.8.

There won't be any new missions in v1.8, but I am busy with improving current features in the mod.

One of the features are improvements to the commands to call additional vehicles.

All cars that can be called by one of these commands have a stand-by command now.

Cars that are on stand-by will act like a parked vehicle at a fire station or the police station.

That means they can be called by one of the commands to call additional vehicles.

Another improvement is that these commands will really call the closest vehicle now, no matter it's on patrol, on stand-by or parked at the fire/police stations.

An even better improvement is that the stand-by command also works in multiplayer and missions!

This means the battalion chief and EMS captain can be usefull in the missions as well.

The final improvement to these commands is that a new vehicle plus crew will be bought when there is no vehicle available after using a command to call an additional vehicle.

This won't work in multiplayer to prevent people from screwing other people by calling 100 cars by themselve.

There is more news about v1.8!

in a nearby high school are relatives that negotiatores or

doctors have to take care of and may have to bring to the

hospital because of shocks of MI's.

are there going to be 8 ff but only 6 on the

I really like the idea of a LAFD commad post that was suggested early.

I really think like in the mission of the barn burning or wild fire it would help a lot.

Also I wanted to know if it is possibile to create a tanker that does not have as many

spces for people but with the command center together, where you get units from,

you could have on the tanker like 6 or 10 hoses.

Just a suggestion.

I was wondering about something if it i possibile to add in EM4.

May be the modllers could answer me those questions!

1: Is it possibile to add a following button to the police cars as the helicopters have, and may be as a result those cars are not leaving the scene.

2: I was wondering if it is possibile to let a police officer set up a row of cones so that civil cars go from 2 lanes to 1 or turn left/right.

If not is it possibile to add such a button for the direction lights on cars. (I always have problems with cars which trun around and stuck all the roads and then the emergency vehicles have to go

through there)

3: Is it possibile to creat a mission like super bowl (which is coming up know in the States) where you have like 10 min to get ready and then you have to solve lots of problems, like riot or small MI

and CVA. that would go like for 30 minutes or something like that and then you have to clean up (units back to base). something like that. what do you think?
