I have edited the LaMod's map for myself by placing some additional police cars near the police station.

when i place them they have light ON. is there a way they can be palced there with their lights off?

and is it possible to put some officers inside them?

i've been working for the past couple of days trying to understand exactly how these scripts work without too much success. i'm sure a walk through for adding vehicles to the parking lot would be more than greatly appreciated when you have time to help us.

i agree, i also tried to change the really unneeded hazmat with the very needed foam tender with no luck.

it would be really nice if someone of the gurus could make a nice step-by-step walkthrough from the first step to the last.

I was enjoying playing the Deluxe freeplay map which was before the LA map. The one with freeway with repairs.

I installed LAMOD2.0 over it and still was playing it, but i had to reinstall the game completely due to my own reasons and now i have the NEW LA map.

how do i get the old one back?

Unfortunately there is no place i can download 1.8 or 1.9. I googled it with no luck and link to this forum's download is dead.

ok, i got it and i made want i wanted. finally. thank you!!!

the only thing is that i really can't understand how to close this spawn points window in the editor. but anyway, i just saved the map and quit and it's ok. i put all the interval values to 2. highways to 1. that's cool. i have a REAL-life highway and traffic-full streets. ofcourse a couple of places need attention, but placing three cars = 6 cops on three most jammed intersections without traffic lights sorts any problems. i just block one street and let another pass, then change. ofcourse the game missions cannot be played, so i just waited for an ambulance mission and just enjoy the traffic-ergency 4 ))) thanks!

and another thing i would like to tell HOPPA... maybe its not the place... any way.. it would be GREAT to have a script to disable ANY traffic light on the map, so one could play traffic cops on whatever intersection he wants!

yes, yes, yes. but you have to remove all the three traffic lights from this intersection, because if you only remove the traffic light from that corner the problem stays, if you remove any two - the third one is always red.

and removing all three solves the problem and does not make any difference for the map, because all the traffic on this intersection goes different ways! tested myself - 3 (ingame) days+ playing.

i just entered the editor, and removed the bloody traffic light. NO MORE PROBLEM AT ALL!!! Anyone can do it, it's 45 seconds work.

take a look at the Edit -> Spawnpoints.

You want MORE? Most people are already having enough problem with traffic jams (Right now that's not due to traffic though).

why do you comment my post and ask this question? This is MY desire and i am asking for advice and not your unneeded offtopic comments.

Is there a way to make MORE traffic in the city? i tried modifing traffic entries in the time zones portions of the fp_params_endless_d file, but it seems to have no effect. maybe other way, or maybe i am doing smthing wrong? i always play freeplay endless deluxe map and would love to have more traffic cars. thanx
