This is a bit late, dunno if you still need it but you need to use the installer in the actually 911 first responders file. Its called 911modinstaller

Hey, sorry to bother you all, I love this mod, but I don't love it enough to read through all 140 pages of the topic to see if there's a latest version, I think I have the latest version. I have the one that has the airport, and the motorway with highways units and traffic units at a base at the bottom left of the map above the airport, the hospital at the top right. But could someone also tell me what the units are at the hospital, there's the air ambulance as well as the air ambulance Volvo response vehicle. And the Urgent Blood Vehicle, but then there's like semi marked vehicles and there's a vehicle with orange and yellow battenburg like the blood vehicle but it has a paramedic inside. And the LAX ambulance, is that a private ambulance?

So basically I download the mod and its all normal but when I use the mod installer I click on the fil and it opens the file with all the audio, scripts, specs and all the other files. Why is this happening? On other mods I click on the file and it installs not opens...

Does anyone recommend or know any good software that works for downloading mod files? PLEASE HELP!!!

Well I download any file. For example London mod. I download it. Move it from win rar and on to my desktop. Then I put it in my mods folder. And it doesnt work in game. And the game doesnt even recognize it as a mod.  I try to open the file but all it says is windows couldn't open this file and would you like to search the internet to ways to open it. I do it and it says it cant find any ways. For some reason the kent mod worked??? Also the files appear as internet links and not files like the Kent mod? 

Yes it does and thats what Ive dont but they dont work!!! Also can I have the link to the most recent kent mod!!!

Well, Im terrible at modding but love this website as its good for mods. Im British so obviously like British mods. I've downloaded the old Kent mod by accident on win rar as that is for some reason how every file downloads. Then I have managed to get Kent mod working but its the old version with the LA dispatch. I've got the new Kent mod which I have download with Mega so now I know what to download them on. But I can only download them onto win rar. Can someone please help me! Any info would be great.
