  1. Steve if they are to white for you I'd go in and suggest coloring the white units a shade darker towards grey or something, I'm playing right now and I don't notice them to be to bright for me and lights are easy to see along with decals.

It may just be my computer, I'll double check it.

    Thanks for the suggestion too.

  2. I particularly feel those who are staffed in/around rural areas should be required to get an EMR/EMT level certification due to the long response time of first responders. There are a few RCMP members I know of who have EMR level certifications, but I've never run into a fully trained EMT for the RCMP. As far as I'm aware it's completely up to the individual to fund and attend the courses for EMR/EMT. I've heard of police officers in bigger cities who have their full paramedic though, but it's rare within a rural detachment.

But, with a fully stocked and maintained first aid kit, AED, and whatever other medical items a member may choose to carry in their duty bag, it is more than enough to cover the gap between the initial incident and the time care is provided.

I couldn't agree more. I honestly couldn't. I'm working as a paramedic. Some will know, when you're a starting paramedic you're pushed out into the rural areas of B.C, not the major cities.

Rural enough to the point where it could take us up to 1 hour to get to a call. Having no care in that time can be fatal. Train RCMP at EMR or OFA 3 levels. They're not hard to courses to take and you can learn a lot from it.

  3. Looks great!

Just for a heads up, if you're speaking in a different language make sure to have an English translation. Not sure if it's still a rule around here, but I do remember seeing several people get asked to do so by mods a few years back. I understand if English isn't your first language!

translation: New script after catching respiratory equipment.
  4. As a member of BCAS, I have tried to do exactly what you mentioned since day 1 of creating this modification, to keep it simple.. Falls are BLS, Most of the other stuff gets layered like your Man down BLS+ALS and of course ALS cancelled. ;).. as for implementing a CCP or ITT car, most likely thatll be the helicopter that responds.

Rewording of the Calls has been completed.

A new Ambulance station was added to the map so there is now 3 BLS and 1 ALS along with a Supervisor which is usually ALS.

There are a few ways to make it work, 1 BLS dont have kits and if they need one they call for ALS to make it seem some what realistic.

2, The BLS units heal slower than the ALS units.

    | personally prefer the first way, but let me know what you guys think.

I'm glad I can finally relate to someone! I am too a member of BCAS, and I love the job. I'm waiting to move up into the PCP schooling starting in January but I'm hired with them as an EMR.

That sounds perfect. Brings more realism to the game! I LOVE the BCAS station too. LOVE IT. A brilliant idea to be added in.

If you need any help regarding anything else, give me a PM.

London modification has a taser script. Check it out!

I didn't know that! And I play that mod! D:

I have no idea how I've missed this.

  5. I though tasers were an issue with the game?

How about making medical calls more entertaining? - For example, here in British Columbia we have Emergency Paramedic (which is a Basic Life Support Crew), Advanced Life Support Paramedic and Critical Care Paramedic crews.(And some other crews, Infant Transport etc) - Emergency Paramedics are sent to everything, ALS Crews are sent to more life threatening calls, such as heart attacks strokes etc etc, and CCP Crews are sent to obviously life threatening, or where the person(s) will not make it to a hospital on time before they become deceased and are needing a more intense medical assessment and treatment.

To get to the point, make medical calls require a different level of first aid depending on the call.

I.E - A fall, BLS Crew can handle it.

or a unresponsive person suffering from a cardiac arrest, ALS or CCP crews can handle it.

If you don't send the right paramedic crew, you can lose the patient. Or, the right care isn't provided the patient can pass away.

This makes the game a little bit more interesting, difficult and in my opinion makes the medical more entertaining.

Trying to figure out the best way to word everything, so I'll apologize if I didn't make much sense. lol. Hopefully you understand what I mean!
