Hello all,
I already kind of know my answer but can anyone give me any pointers on how to make a mod from the ground up? I am wanting to make a mod of my area. Be a brand new map, units etc. I do not have hardly any knowledge of what I am doing but I want to give it a try. Are there any videos or websites out there that give you a good start? I found a few Youtube videos but not sure how well it will work. If anyone out there would be willing to give me a few pointers, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

Hello all. I am looking at getting a new laptop just mainly to piddle around with and just do casual gaming for Emergecy 4. Not really much for playing multiplayer on it, just something I can take with me on the go to play. I'm not really that much tech savy. Just wondering if I could get some suggestions if any of these computers would work to play Emergency 4 with some mods like LA and some of the New York mods.

Are you using the rapid deployment to hook up and unhook the water supply? The script bugs out if you don't.
I wasn't but I am now and it works just fine. Thanks!

^ Same problem here ^. I also have the problem every once in a while if I hook up the water supply (hydrant to engine) I can not unhook it. Any solutions?

Awesome mod. Believe it is going to me my new favorite. Just 2 questions. Is there anyway to limit the traffic? Traffic gets blocked up all of the time at every intersection. At the train crossings they always get hit by the train and blow up causing a huge mess. Any way to fix this? Also the other thing that happened was I had a fire the southeast corner of the map. As soon as I got trucks there a pop up showed up saying "Congratulations you have reached a high score, however things have become out of control" (or something to that affect) and then exited the game. Any way to shut that off? Other than that a totally awesome mod! Great work so far. Hope to see more to come! Thanks for your work!

Ok.. I am having the same problem that the majority of everyone else is having, but I dont understand any of it. I played the game for a few months and then one day I click on the icon to play the game and it starts to load, and immeadeatly crashes back to the desktop. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it multiple times, still no help. (This has happened to me on two different computers) Any ideas??? Im not very "computer savy" so the easier the better! LOL Thanks

No problem. I am new to this and just trying to get things figured out and how they work.

I was saying it sounds like a good idea for a mod.
